I think you should refer to the thief that was next to Jesus on the cross. He asked Jesus to forgive him and Christ told him he would be in heaven with Him that day. GOD does not have a ranking system for sin, they are all the same to Him. It is his people who have decided what is a "little sin" or a "big sin"

We cannot say. We cannot stand in the place of God to judge.
An immediate response on our part would be, "Yes, he's going to Heaven because he was saved before he died."
BUT- there is no way in Heaven or in Earth that we as mere humans can peer into his heart and see what only God can see. We cannot see the thoughts and the intents of anyone's heart, nor can we know properly their sincerity.
The Bible is very clear on who is in and who is not Heaven bound. Only by that can we know. Whether or not a person is in Christ, only they themselves can rally determine. We can only look for the fruit they have to tell. And yes that part is in the Bible.

Saved is saved. If he prayed and asked Jesus to come into his heart and save him and assuming that he really meant it then he was saved and all of his sins were covered by the blood of our savior Jesus Christ through the grace of God. But we are rewarded in Heaven according to how we lived our life here on earth. The Bible says that we will reign with Jesus and I believe that how much we will be given to reign over will be directly related to how obedient we were to God in our life time...or rather, how much we loved God in our life time. And I don't think this guy will be given much territory to reign over....He'll probably get a 12"x12" vacant piece of desert to reign over.

He died a born again believer. Salvation is not limited to anyone, no matter what they've done. We've all sinned, and we all have the opportunity to become saved.

He goes to heaven.

When you confess Christ as Lord & Savior......you are saved.....period.

It doesn't matter whether or not you get saved at the 11th hour or in the 1st minute.......when you give your life to Christ.....you are eternally sealed by the Holy Spirit

As he had a change of heart before he died he was saved and no longer a sinner.

We all die sinners. The wages of sin is death.

God loves child molestors that ask for forgiveness, yet he can't be around loving people that don't ask for forgiveness.

I don't get it, guess I never will.

what a nice god, to eternally reward a rapist/murderer, and eternally torture his victim (if she wasn't a christian, of course)
