That would make you an "atheist". The word "atheist" comes from three words in the Latin: "a" meaning "no" and "theo" meaning "God" and "ist" meaning "to be".
The classical definition of "athiest" is, therefore, "no gods be" or "no gods exist". This would encompass all non-corporeal beings, such as angels or demons, and not just those beings worshipped as "gods".

if no, then you are an atheist. i dont condone it but merely answering your question.
on another note, really do think about it if you want to go that way. don't fall into contemporary views because of pressure from the society around you.
God/god offers us salvation, no matter which one of the 5 major world faiths/religions.

You're an atheist. That just means somebody who doesn't believe in the existence of gods. I'll leave it up to you to think about why you might have been taught a different definition.
