its real weird i like got stretch marks on my hips and its so annoying because i cant even wear a bikini properly anymore! how do i cover it up or get rid of them? its so annoying and its ruining my body! does self tan really work? because my body is very tanned so would it be much use?

When the skin can't stretch as rapidly as the muscle and tissue underneath it expands, you get stretch marks. There are a lot of "cures" but nothing makes them go away. Tanning deeply makes them more visible because there's not as much pigment there.

Young women often get stretch marks on the front of the hips and above the buttocks. Later, they may get them on the belly during pregnancy.

Try bio oil from the chemist, it is recommended to reduce the appearance of stretch marks an scars, it helps them fade.

You get stretch marks for gaining and losing weight. try cocoa butter daily... it should help.

all you can do really is tan them. basicly all it does is tan the scar if it is pale, but it will always be dimpled and/or shiney.

if you have enough money, you could try lazer removal or microdermabrasion.

you can cover them up with make-up but otherwise u have to fade them gradually over months or get laser treatments
