Good question, and so many great answers !
I believe that, contrary to all the so-called evidence of our physical senses, those most unreliable of witnesses, the entirety of 'All That Is' is composed of two main elements, 'Energy' and 'Thought'.
That 'Energy' really is. I will offer this for your consideration.
'Energy' is the One true 'Force' in existence, it has neither 'positive' nor 'negative', it just is, and exists as the potentiality for becoming literally anything that 'Thought' can imagine.
'Thought' is more difficult still, but, for the purposes of this question let us define 'Thought' as the primary manifestation of 'Consciousness', which is, after all, how this whole thing got started. Most religious doctrines have some kind of 'In the Beginning' text, and, hardly surprisingly, all around the world the beginning of the 'Beginning' texts are remarkably similar. Most, as does the 'Pentateuch', the 'Old Testament' of the 'Christian Bible', start with some variant of :
'In the Beginning was the 'Word', and the 'Word' was with 'God', and the 'Word' was 'God'.
This, of course is a translations, and all translations bare a risk of error, in this case the error is in the Greek word 'Logos'
which does, indeed, mean 'Word'. I offer that the intended meaning was actually 'Thought', i.e. "In the Beginning was 'Thought' ..." And the first Thought was .... well ... 'First Thought'. And all other subsequent thoughts followed the first one.
And so it is right now. Consciousness exists, mostly in the form of 'Thoughts', those thoughts act as a catalyst on 'Energy' and cause all things, here in this dense, heavy realm, this means 'stuff', material, to come into existence. What is material other than condensed energy ?
So, then what might be this concept of 'Heaven' ?
Well, by my own definition above, it must be some form of energy, made manifest, but apart from that there is little to go on, because we seem to have painted ourselves into some kind of conceptual corner, is it a 'place', or is it, as many have argued, a 'State of Mind'.
I suggest that it is both.
I suggest that, in the beginning ( hehehe ) when we start to feel free of negative emotion, then we engender the 'heavenly' feelings, and that those, in their turn begin to engender the 'physical reality' of 'Heaven'.
The beauty of this concept is that it leaves all 'Consciousness' no matter how it is manifested to literally manufacture it's own version of 'Heaven'.
And thus the answer to your question "Where is Heaven ?" is ....
"Anywhere you please, and anywhere that any other 'consciousness' may please."
Maybe everywhere ! :-)))

Heaven is located in eternity. Eternity is a dimension with no physical reality because only spiritual, and/or supernatural beings can exist there.
God created space and time so corporal beings could live in it. When we die we leave our bodies behind on earth and then go, as spirits, to either the spiritual dimension called heaven or hell.
That is until Jesus returns then the earth and universe will be burned up and rebuilt. Humans will be reunited with their bodies and will either live on the new earth forever or will be separated from God forever. Being separated from God forever is not as benign as it sounds.

Wow @ mistress vinyl.
I know they used to believe it was up in the sky, but now we know what the sky is, about our atmosphere and fly through it on jumbojets, heaven got moved to somewhere more mystical.
People used to think that heaven and hell were places you could bodily travel to. Hell, the water from the flood came from heaven (the sky) it wasn't metaphor, they thought heaven was the sky - they didn't know about outerspace or planets, it was simple - hell was underground and hot (because fiery lava comes out of volcanoes - that proves hell is hot) and heaven is a pretty place of clouds and is up in the sky.
More sophisticated modern theologians would probably answer its in another dimension and indeed, have been arguing this for nearly 200 years. Personally I think if it couldn't be found in its original location they should have spent time considering whether it wasn't all a load of rubbish.

In the Bible the word heaven is used to describe three places.
1st Heaven is the Sky with clouds ect.
2nd Heaven is space and the stars.
3rd Heaven (which is what we mostly in todays language and culture associate with the word) is the very dwelling place of God in His glory and majesty.

Heaven is composed of 3 things only. They are Space, Time and Matter. And yet Space is composed of 3 things which are Length, Heigth and weigth; while Time is composed of another 3 things which are Past, Present and the Future, Matter is composed of Energy, Motion and Phenomena. The Bible mention about the 3rd heaven, and the space we can physically see in our eyes is heavely space all composed of atoms, as man and all things in the universe is composed of atoms. Science says we are under the law of entropy.

When you die you go to the spirit world, in the spirit world, there are many mansions.
Getting to heaven you must go through all the mansions and it takes time, no one goes to heaven right away.
There is order in everything, as the saying goes Rome was not built in a day.

Personally I think it's here and now.
We each have the capacity through our beliefs, attitudes and approach to life to be miserable or happy. Being happy doesn't have to entail having more money or anything else. It can just be an ability to appreciate the pleasant aspects to our lives. This to me is heaven
Similarly hell is the ability to take everything as an affront, an attack or some other excuse to be bitter and miserable.
The world doesn't change, just our attitude. The choice is ours.
Peace.

Assuming Heaven to be a kind of post-life karmic enlightenment, then Heaven is a state of relationship between the individual's conceptual influence and the world around it. As such, it exists nowhere, but could also be interpreted to exist everywhere, I guess.
