I live in Mauritius(beautiful island in the Indian Ocean) and I have to decide between studying in England or Australia. I have the right papers, and just have to go ahead and choose unis and apply.
Y England? Where in England?
Y Australia? Where in Australia?
Thanks

Australia without a doubt. The weather is much warmer than in England, the people are very easy going and welcoming. There are excellent universities in all states of Australia. My favourite state in Australia is Victoria and there are a number of top universities in Melbourne: The University of Melbourne, Swinburne University, RMIT, LaTrobe Univeristy. Living expenses in Melbourne are not that expensive, especially compared to Sydney. But in general I would say living expenses in Australia would be cheaper compared to England. I used to work with a guy that moved to Australia from Mauritius and now calls Australia home. Good luck with your decision and I hope I was of some help.

England has many wonderful universities but the climate there would be very different from what you are used to. Wet and cold.

Instead, I'd suggest Australia. The climate is warm and the lifestyle is more relaxed. Look into the University of Western Australia in Perth.

Sydney, Australia.

Considering your home country, I think you would feel more at home in Australia. The northeast is tropical and there is plenty of ocean. Both countries have oppressive socialist governments and the food is terrible, but Australia has better weather and scenery.
