you mean in a romantic way? I find that a little taboo especially since they can find someone that isn't in the family because there are millions of others out there... I live in kentucky which is infamously teased for marrying family members which by the way is a stupid stereotype but anyway, yeah I think you could definitely find someone to be romantically involved with that isn't a family member

First cousin's is a little odd, but I think anything after second cousins, or cousins of your parents (second cousins once removed or something like that) then it becomes more acceptable.

It is actually outlawed in southern states but is legal in places such as New York where it is less common. I would stay away from dating your cousin. Not only could you get resentment from the rest of your family but if you had children they could have bad birth defects.

In alot of countries people marry within their family. However, I think that it is not healthy. They are to many single people out in th world that you could find. Do not go looking for a husband or boyfriend at a family reunion

If you're thinking about marrying your cousin, there may be problems with your child, but I think you can take a blood test to see if there will be any problems.

In my church, there is a couple who married who are first cousins. I was not in the picture while this all happened. From what I was told, ppl weren't too impressed with it and before they were married at parties, ppl would call him names over it. To be honest, when they are sitting in front of me in church with their four children, who are normal, but seem not all there, they completely gross me out. I just can't get the past the feeling that they are cousins. Apparently he pressured her big time, she even tried getting out of the relationship once before they were married. So you can't tell me she's happy. Don't go there, not cool!

i don't think anything is wrong with loving your first or more distant cousin. In fact, we think the combination of this special intimacy and romance often make for a strong, beautiful, intimate, loving and extraordinary relationship.
As long both of you really love each other i think there's nothing wrong...
