I have not been spending as much time here on R&S as I used to. Many questions are asked repeatedly. Others attract silliness and worse.

Instead I spend more and more time on Yahoo 360°, reading my friends blogs. Blogs give one more space to put across views than a Q&A format and I find that's where many of my contacts really 'shine'.

But many of my friends don't have a 360°. I wish they would.

So here's a chance for you to nominate people you'd like to see writing in a bit more depth?

I nominate Lao Pu.

Y!A is frustrating. I have been wanting something different, and 360 has been a better place to spend my time.

It is a place where we exchange essays, rather like open letters to one another. Some are light and humorous and others are thoughtful. You can pick a 360 blog to fit your mood.

I am slowly building up a list of friends who's blogs receive daily visits. It would be nice if others I know from Y!A posted on 360 more often. Lao Pu, Skeptic, Markyyy, and Ross come to mind, but I encourage everyone to try it. Yahhoo 360 is a more rewarding experience than Y!A.

thought·ful (thôtfl) KEY

ADJECTIVE:

1) Engrossed in thought; contemplative.
2) Exhibiting or characterized by careful thought: a thoughtful essay.
3) Having or showing heed for the well-being or happiness of others and a propensity for anticipating their needs or wishes.

Not really...

All my 360 friends, but two, I know from the 'real' word...
Meaning they've been in my life for 5, 10, 25 years...

Their 360 existence pretty much revolves around me :-)
Oooo, the pressure to perform...

But, seriously, you make a good point that:
"Blogs give one more space to put across views than a Q&A format..."

However, I haven't found many interesting blogs to read...
I think I hang out in P&S too much...
So the respective 360 links are akin to such topics...

Do you have a blog?
Perhaps, I will check you out...

You seem to have a big heart...
Inviting your friends to explore the depths of their personality...

My blogs are not so deep...
But, I do have a picture of my cricket posted :-))

I even have been interior the comparable situation as you formerly. for my area i think of that the ps3 is greater useful over all because of the fact of unfastened on line, particularly some relaxing exclusives(i don't choose Halo) particularly some memory, and to me a greater useful controller while you evaluate that's lighter and additionally you dont could save on buying batteries :) for xbox even however the internet is definitely good i think of the psn is nice adequate and that i think that the ps3 image are slightly greater useful( cuz Of blu ray) and that i don t think of that 4 gb is adequate when you consider which you may acquire unfastened demo and the 250 gb xbox for 299 is purely too plenty. And for RROD i think of that it will nevertheless take place no count what. So i desire u take my opinion and once you're nevertheless uncertain u can bypass on YouTube and seek console wars and click on the single from techno buffalo that's a 12 area series the 1st one communicate appropriate to the controller. So if u get a ps3 my Psn is simsim646.

Well thank you WU (I wonder if that is intentional). I'm flattered that both you and H-Rod consider me to be someone you'd like to hear from in a little more depth. I don't know anything about this 360° thing, but with such wise fellows telling me it's a good idea, I think I would be terribly amiss to not give it a shot.

Some of my friends have 360°, although I have some true friendships with people and speak with them on messenger or via email. Also I am setting up a website so I will invite my friends from here to view it and join the forums.

Hi,
Yes, I've only recently started using my 360 and I think it is a great way to build better relationships and there's more freedom there too. It's informative; there are some really interesting blogs. And it's fun!

I'd rather have the option to give the OK (or not) to people who add you as contacts on Y!A.

I don't know more than half of the geeks who added me to their contact list here.
