it wasnt the first time she had done it and i certainly didnt tell her off - infact i thought it was quite amusing, i took her out of the bath, emptied it, refilled and put her back in. But for nearly 2 weeks now she has been getting very distressed in the bath - pointing to something that isnt there and crying when in the water whilst pointing to her bits.
Obviously she needs to bathe but i hate seeing her so distressed and dont want to make it worse! Any ideas or anyone had similar experiences?

Try getting in the bath first yourself and having hubby pass her in and out to you?? My little one went through a terrified stage of bathing recently (he's 18 months) never got to the bottom of why he was like that, but bathing with me for a few nights cured it. Good luck.

I'd say to get in with her, and make sure she doesn't need to go to the loo before putting her in there just in case she is trying to tell u that. Also I'd maybe suggest not running the bath n jst showering her down for a while? make it something really fun until she eventually just totally forgets that she has an issue with the bath. Let her stay in that bathroom whilst you or your partner have a bath as well so she sees nothing is wrong with it.

oh the poor little thing she now thinks that bath time means she will pooh in the bath she has remembered doing it & she is telling you by pointing at the bath water & her parts it has obviously distressed her i would either get in the bath with her & play splish splash games to take her mind of it or just for a little while give her strip washes then try the bath again good luck x

i cant see why you cant get in the bath with her as long as your partner is there to help and get her out when she is done.
What about buying some swimming nappies for her to wear in the bath, see if that works. If that works she will soon decide in her own time when she doesnt want the nappies on anymore hopefully. Good luck.

Salcura Dermaspray in intensity that's all organic and could cease the itch and heal the rash. worked speedy, you may ask your close by Chemist or get it on line. did you detect the triggers on your childs eczema yet and stay removed from them?

Yeah, for some reason it scares them when they do it!! My son was running around naked when he was littler and pooped on my husbands boot!! It scared him so bad, he was terrified, he wouldn't even move!! Just reassure her nothing was wrong. Make a joke out of it. Get her some toys to make her preoccupied about something. Good luck!!!!
