Probably not.
LMAO.

(Read the short-story, "Sredni Vashtar" by H. H Munro "Saki"
It's a hilarious black comedy about a little boy who wants someone dead.)

Yo, wassup, spacepirate! I checked out your profile. You sound like a zarking frood, man! (That's DNAiese for "really hot")

It is my understanding that, if you pray for another's death for selfish or malicious reasons, the prayer will erode your own soul and you too will suffer a shortened and unhappy life. I have noticed the rebound phenomenon in most people who hold grudges or hold hatred against others for long periods. It really does damage the one who hates in a real way. Haters have higer stress levels and more medical problems because hate erodes the body through the unhealthy focus of the mind. If you want someone dead, examine the reason and often the problem will be inside you, not the other person. If you pray for someone to die and that person dies shortly thereafter, it is as if you have murdered that person in your soul--irreversible damage caused there whether there is a real causal effect or not.

P.S. Marvin, I LOVE Sredni Vashtar! Good point, although I wonder how little Conradin's life goes after that...Saki himself died in the Great War...too soon, alas.
P.P.S.: Thanks, Marvin. I've never been called a "zarking frood" before...it sure beats "hey, idiot!" or "you fool!"

This does not sound very Christian like.
If this is what you are you should be ashamed
of yourself for asking such a disgusting question.
I am Atheist and I can safely say I would not wish this on anyone. I was rapped and stalked by someone I thought I trusted and I don't even wish this on him.
At least I can tell what is good and bad and I don't need a God to tell me this.

Satan is the author of sin sickness and death. In most cases they are already the walking dead. Anger of that sort is more of the same and from the dark side. Even your thoughts, you are responsible for. Get forgiveness and let vengence belong to God as the Word says.

I can't imagine the personal pain you must be going through in order to wish someone dead.
I pray that some day you can find forgiveness in your heart.
Jesus loves you. There isn't anything else that matters.

blessings :)

You can pray for that, and for sure it will come true. But the question is, you pray for that? The answer is no, because life and death are up to God, not to us.

NO.
Praying is asking God for something, and thanking him for what you already have.
Do you think God would approve of you asking for something that He himself has plans to eradicate.
(Revelation 21:4) And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Perhaps.
I know Gnostic received a few emails that made it clear the authors weren't above doing just that.

Now she's dying.

I think she's ok with it though.

Of course you can, and your prayer will come true ... eventually, when it is that person's time to go. ;)))

PS. so what's the use doing it? we all die. but seriously: when has someone's death solved a problem?
