Eggs. They're higher in protein.
Of course, you would want to eat other things as well - some carbs and a little fat. An hour workout is going to leave your body depleted of water and minerals so you want to drink water and eat a banana or something with high potassium.

I have a better idea.
How about a smoothie with
1 serving whey protein powder
1/2 banana or fruit of your choice
1/2 cup cooked instant plain oatmeal
8 ounces skim milk.
The whey will give you protein
The fruit will give you slow burning sugar to get your energy back
The oatmeal is high in fiber and will help you stay full longer
and will help push waste along in your intestines so that you don't build up extra weight. It's almost like a daily detox - but very gentle.
If you don't like the smoothie idea, just have the oatmeal or a high fiber cereal with skim milk.

it depends on the workout ( aerobic or anaerobic) and what you are trying to accomplish ( lose fat or build muscle).
but, as a general rule,if it is an aerobic workout and you are trying to burn more fat you should not eat at all for about an hour in order to let your body continue to burn more fat as fuel while your body temperature is still elevated. then the healthy cereal and the egg (WHITES!!) will be fine.
if you are trying to build muscle after an anaerobic workout a good protein shake and a cereal white simple carbs and very little fat would be better than anything else. dietary fat should be avoided immediately after an anaerobic workout.
