Does anyone know any famous photographers that have used Harris shutter extensivly (I can't spell, I know). In fact they don't even hav to be famous, as long as they have their own website. Thank you

This is a technique, not a shutter. It involves making 3 exposures on one frame using red, green and blue filters (one filter for one exposure). It produces a "rainbow effect" in waterfalls, clouds, etc.

Visit AIRC-Adorama Imaging Resource Center and click on SFX PHOTOGRAPHY for examples.

When in doubt about spelling use Spell Check.

The Harris shutter technique reminds me of trying to photograph a fast moving object using a scanning back on a 4x5. However, I don't know of any famous photographer who uses this technique extensively.
Anyhow, if you want to see lots of this so called shutter technique just go to the link below

All photographers use slow shutter speed at some point. Do you realise that the shutter speed is one of the methods used to adjust the exposure of an image.
