I often have headaches for several days in a row and it's due to my neck or back being out because I've spent way too many hours working on a computer. I take Advil to get me through until I get acupuncture or a massage and then it's all fixed. You say that you have been crying - that would definitely not help a headache. If you're going through a hard time, I hope that you have someone to talk to as that could really help. Putting up with a headache for 5 days is tough on your body and wouldn't be helping your stress, so please go see your doctor and take some time out to relax, a massage could be a really good idea.

I would start the process of elimination. First off I would try a ibuprofen type of pain reliever such as advil aleve ect. I too get head aches and tylonol and it never works on me if it is a stress related head ache I believe ibuprofen is also a muscle relaxer which helps with stress. If that does not help try a allergy reliever medication and for one day stay away from the computer. Do you were glasses? if not and when your head ache goes away till you go back on the computer you might need glasses hope this helps

a million. When is the final time you had a headache? Couple of years (steady one) two. What did you are taking on your headache? Advil three. When is the final time you had a hangover headache? About every week in the past four. What labored for this headache? Time five. What does not paintings in any respect on your complications? Banging my head in opposition to a wall 6. Do you get stupid complications or throbbing complications? I in general do by no means get complications. When I do (steady ones) they're in general stupid. A scorching bathtub or truly well therapeutic massage works wonders. A chiropractor would possibly aid too to get you again in operating order!

sounds to me like you are suffering from rebound headaches. The more pain killers you take, then they wear off, and your headache returns. Try Excedrin for migraines, take them and go to bed with the heating pad on the back of your neck, and sleep.....hen try to wean yourself from the pain killers. If this doesn't work get to the doctor. You could also be suffering from a sinus infection. Lots of people in my area have been sick with them, change in the weather. Hope you feel better soon.

You are the best patient and have ability to be your own doctor too. Pl study naturopathy and after it acupuncture if possible.
All the observations are correct.
There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
Acidity, WORRY, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation; drugs,
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Pain killers don't treat the pain but we loose the sense of pain for some time; in that duration our body itself treats sometime and credit goes to meds.

Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.

Avoid drugs & late sleeping if possible; worry, spicy foods, sour fruits, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, COCOANUT WATER,sweet fruits, milk, rice, SPROUTS, SALADS and good sleep will help you.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it is very strong.

If it is acute pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

Try taking Motrin or a pain reliever specified for migraines. Lie in a dark room with a cold compress on your head. Try to rest and keep quiet. If this does not help then see your physician, there may be something more going on, like low or high blood pressure, Hope you feel better fast!

IF you have had a headache for 5 days that bad, it's time to go see your family MD. I may just be stress related, but what if it's not? If it was my headache....and I was taking that much Tylenol, too, I'd be seeing my MD today.

Headaches can be caused by minor problems like eye strain, lack of coffee or more serious reasons like head injury, brain tumors, encephalitis and meningitis. Check out http://www.aches.in/headache.html for more info.
