This is actually a scriptural quote from Matt 7:6 . She wasn't calling anyone a swine it just means that you have to take care of your valuable things and not treat them badly.
Gods word is a valuable thing.
Single eye: Gods word is the Pearl and we can all have that.

Would you have considered Saul of Tarsus a swine? Yet Jesus put some of his most precious pearls in his hands. With God's spirit, people can change. And what of the Samaritan woman seeking a miracle from Jesus. Though he treated her like a 'swine' at first, yet he eventually praised her and gave her her request.
Though I have considered that saying of Jesus many times while on this forum, there have been gems in the mud that encourage me to go on. And besides, I don't usually answer the swine, but sort through to find those who seem to be honest seekers of truth (of course, I sometimes err in both direction).

My dear,
look at it this way; pearls may indeed be rich to cast before swine but I think that to throw a few good seeds may feed a few souls.
Peace

Well, it those rare ones that you are referring to that I craft my responses to. Just because I answer an Atheists questions doesn't men that the answer in meant for them. Most of the time it's not for them, it's for those who might need an answer to the same question.
So the swine are there, but they get left out because God leaves them out.
Discernment is a gift from God. If a Christian does not have it, then maybe you are right, they shouldn't post here.

I don't consider it a waste of time because I think there are things I can learn here. In the process, I hope to clear up a few misconceptions - although my faith in my ability to do that is somewhat weaker than once it was.

There might be a few good people out there, who are going through the same thing as you and would like to hear about it.
Ignore the swine.

You're the one that's set in your ways, Peanut. I can name at least two dozen atheists and pagans who are really interested in a good conversations about religion and spirituality.
We'd prefer that it not be so one-sided. Will you talk to us -- and listen to us -- instead of preaching?

That may not be entirely true. Those that post questions about us may not be sincere. However, our answers may touch the minds and hearts of those who merely read our responses.
However, it is not a good idea to reply to the queries of apostates. Their only goal is to keep the truth from being known. We shun them.

Then why are you wasting time on it, stop judging others and don't you know others can not change only the way you behave towards them.
