From the perspective of physics it is possible. It is the same way as light is wave and particle at the same time. Now with present day technology it is not possible for a person to be present at the same time in two different places. But may be after few thousand years it will be a common thing. I don't think there is any exact term for this phenomenon is science. But you can study this in quantam mechanics. And uncertinaty principles will pretty much expain it. I tried not to sound as a nerd! :)

Yes it is possible. This is one of the siddhis of ten siddhis(mystical powers) attained when one is on the path of realization of truth/almighty/god.
This is neither devilish nor divine, but can be attained by sincere practitioner of yoga.
The problem is there is a possibility that one may get diverted from the goal of realizing the truth.
I heard Sri Sathya Baba of puttabarthi has done it many times.
I too have personal experience with my Guru, my 7 years old daughter and my wife had the same experience.
He was with us and same time he was in his home 400km away.
Since I know this is possible, I called another person(when i experienced it) known to my Guru and he too confirmed it.
In India there are so many people capable of doing this kind of practices.
This is another kind of astral travel or projection.
In fact anyone can practice this.
But very dangerous also.

No. The term used to describe being in all places at once is "omnipresence." If you are speaking of God, being almighty, it is not necessary for him to be everywhere at the same time. God being an individual, a Person with a spirit body, has a place where he resides, and so he could not be at any other place at the same time. Thus we read at 1 Kings 8:43 that the heavens are God’s “established place of dwelling.” Also, we are told at Hebrews 9:24 that “Christ entered . . . into heaven itself, now to appear before the person of God for us.”

Well, I has seen this in one of my favorite movies, "A Walk To Remember" (With Mandy Moore and Shane West in it)
And this was one of the protagonist's dream, to be at two different places at the same time.
She actually can do this, she steps in the limit of two cities or two states, I cannot remember: one foot in each place, It's a very pretty part of the movie!
Here I have a clip of it, you can search for more videos at Youtube if you want to:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mu54utJBjqc

So I think you can, you can look for a limit, one that separates to states or cities and poot one in each place, such as when I travel through my country from province to province and pass through different limits
It is a beautiful movie, very pretty, I hope this helps ^_^
Good luck!

What i have felt many times is the lives of some people get connected sometimes by accident or sometimes just by being assosiated with them with whole heartedly....subsequently although you may see them as different individuals materialistically, on the inner layer they are one...for instance a thought arisen in one mind is turned into action by another mind .....

in short what can be said is that it these people are actually one however we may consider them as separate materialistic entities....

There are evidences that a person can exist in two or more places at the same time in Indian mythology. At present absolutely there is no such evidence. Hence say "IT IS ABSURD"

technically, no! but if you stand between the boundary line of two places, one foot on the other and one foot also on the other.. then, you are at different places!

It's called "bilocation," and the only one I know of who is said to have done it is St. Teresa of Avila.
