I joined weight watchers on 21st March and reached my goal weight on 17th August 2007. I followed their core plan though-out and lost a total of 48lbs. The results are absolutely amazing.

The foods you are allowed on Core Plan are:-

Vegetables and fruits, non sugary cereals, pasta, brown rice, whole-grains and potatoes, beans and pulses, coffee, tea and sugar free beverages, soups(containing only ingredients from the core list) lean meats, poultry, fish and eggs, skimmed milk and low fat dairy products, healthy oils (olive, sunflower, flax-seed, or rap-seed limit to 2tsp a day.

Between meals you are allowed to snack on Fresh fruit and vegetables and weight watcher fruities.

At any time over a 1 week period you are allowed an optional weekly points allowance of 21 - and this can be used for any food that is not on the Core Food List. Any Core Foods you eat between meals should be counted as part of your points allowance too.

It enables you to enjoy the freedom to eat from a list of wholesome, nutritious foods with tracking.

I found this diet so satisfying. I did not feel hungry once. I also joined a gym and I know that this accelerated my weight loss.

I am now a gold member of weight watchers. Registration is free at the moment too.

I hope this is helpful for you. Give it a go. I worked wonders for me, see if it does for you.
