Though Jesus made reference to greater and lesser sins, the Bible is still clear that all sin has the same end result -- death.
Romans 6:23 -- For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Also (though I cannot remember where at this time), the Bible indicates that it is not the value of the object of the sin, but its relative value to the one offended. For example, stealing a penny from a rich man is of much lesser import than stealing a penny from a poor man.

if you steal a penny you are a theif, if you steal a million dollars you are a theif- there is no difference. The physical consequences- how many people you affect, the damage done on earth can be vastly different but the motives of the heart are the same. God does not judge the external- He judges the motives of the heart. God does not judge according to deeds good or bad, who is 'good enough' to pass the test, who is 'too bad' to be redeemed??
All have fallen short of the glory of God, all have just as much propensity to steal a penny as to steal a million dollars or break any other of God's commands. We all have pridefulness and other ungodly attitudes in our heart that lead to ungodly behaviors. It is the motivating attitudes that God cares about. All He requires is repentence and faith in the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross so that we would not have to suffer that penalty for our sins- we are then free to walk in obedience without condemnation if we fail

God is not there to judge you. God wants to elevate you to a higher level. He wants to show you how to be perfect the way you were created. Stop worrying about concequences, and instead focus on what God wants for your life. You live in a world of sin, and you too will sin. Get over it.

Christians may answer there is no grading of sin but there is of course the unforgivable sin. The Roman church does categorise sin and other religious groups don't mention sin.

I don't think God judge us, unless we do something wrong that we know is wrong, and all punishment is the same no matter what you do. But if you are really sorry, and you don't do it again then he will forgive you for the sin.

God looks into our hearts and see if we love him or not.

Nope. Sin is sin. There are no little sins. Every sin is just as bad as another.

God bless!
