my computer has gone bezerk! i have a list of around ten things that has gone wrong with my computer, it's not old it's on'y about 5 months old and ever since i got it its been going crazy on me!
it's an hp pavillion a6040a home pc
intel pentium D processer 935
with windows vista home edition.
i will beginmy list of things gone wrong with it.
ok...... beware, it's shocking.

1) it doesn't download programmes from the internet. like flash player or messengers or security programmes, well it doesn't download anything really.

2) it doesn't have any sound (yes it's on full volume and i have tried to fix it many times and it only worked one time when i fixed it but it only worked for about five minutes and i never got it working again.

3) it crashes all of the time, when it crashes it says what it's saying, there are usually two different messages that come up, i only remember one though, one of the messages says PAGED_FAULT_IN_NON_PAGED_AREA i forgot the other message.

5) my computer doesn't let me create a recovery disk, half way through the process it crashes! it keeps on doing this. grrrrrrrr!!!!!!

It's really hard to say. This could be a virus or malware, but it also sounds like it could be hardware or a corrupt OS. The first thing to try is backing up your computer, formatting the hard drive and reinstalling the OS. If that works then the problem was a bad install or possibly related to malware. If not, it's probably hardware. There's a program you can download called memtest, which will check your computer's memory for errors. You download it and burn it to disc and then boot off it to run the test. That will help you determine if the problem is related to physical memory. If you open the case and look at the drive, it should tell you who manufactured it. Go to the manufacturer's website and see if they have drive tools - most have something that you download, put on disc and boot off of to test the hard drive. This will destroy all of your data, so make sure it's backed up. If this and memtest run without finding errors and you still have issues after reinstalling the OS, there may be a defect in other hardware. At that point you should contact HP.

Oh, and on the thing where Vista says it's not a legit copy? Go back to the company that sold the computer to you and tell them this and tell them to take care of it. If they don't, contact Microsoft. They're very happy to take action against companies that are selling pirated copies of Vista to customers.

Good luck.

this is why rescues stink. They in no way provide human beings a harm and maximum do no longer understand common canines guidance. You in no way introduce a clean canines and think of it is going to artwork out often times it takes time. canines stay in packs they'd get alongside, only learn some common information. look on youtube or google. Be comfortable and clam around the canines have potential of the chief. Be beneficial.

Sound like a lemon you have there.

I would advice that you first backup all your data, then use the HP recovery Disc and restore the computer to the manufacture state, then try using it again.

The paged fault could have caused by many things, theres another set of digits that you will need to diag the fault.

Honestly?? Back up all your important data, format and reinstall Windows. There seem to be way too many things wrong with your pc! You could also try to repair it first. Go to this link for a good explanation:

Your PC is infected with Malware.

If you call HP, they will tell you that you have to re-install Windows.

Then, use the Discovery TAB above to learn more about malware.
