It's an issue that's been resolved and needs to be laid to rest. Is there anything I can do to stop it? It's ruining my life. And please don't tell me I have unresolved issues, they are over! Thanks!

I won't say it, but you know its true.

You need to try being lucid in your dream. Take control of the situation while in your dream and alter the script.

"ruining your life"??? I doubt it. If the issue was unresolved, maybe. But you are sure you've taken care of it. So what's the problem?

Try reading a novel before sleeping. Fall asleep with a movie going. Get really drunk.

And to really deal with the dream, write in down in as much detail as you can. You are probably missing something.

Although whatever it was that has been resolved, If it was something that caused you great distress or hurt you, it becomes a trauma. Dreams can be a result of stress too. You need time to accept that the issues have been resolved. Find time to enjoy life more, and relax with friends and this will help you overcome feelings you are holding back emotionally. Be kind to yourself. Best of Luck.

Change your sleeping habits, whatever you do you do the opposite. You dream it because your thinking it, stay up extra late, like on the weekend, make yourself very tired, when you sleep you will be so tired your may not even dream but that stops the "dream pattern". OK, try it if that does not work take a vitamin, calcium, melatonin.

Maybe your subconscious mind didn't get the hang of it yet that's why it keeps playing over and over in your dreams.

you cant really control your dreams.. just try to not think about your issues anymore... think about something else right before you go to sleep like.. what to wear the next day? or i need to call my friends.. something. just keep your mind off it. if youre religious.. just pray. see if anything helps. Good luck!
