There are natural conditioners out there, like strong chamomile tea, or vinegar diluted in water. Plain old tea is good, too, especially if you have brown hair. Use these daily, then try a deep treatment once a week. You can often find sample-sizes of the deep treatments, so you can experiment and find something that works for you.

Sorry, I'm a dude but I am in cosmetology school. The more you wash your hair, you remove the body's natural oils which keep the hair and scalp healthy. Hair shouldn't be washed more than three times a week. Matrix is a good line and Paul Mitchell has a line of instant moisture shampoo and conditioner as well as a sprits that you can put in after you shower. Go buy a shampoo and conditioner. Shampoo your hair at the beginning of your shower and put the conditioner in and leave it until you're done with the rest of your shower, then rinse it. Stay away from the cheap stuff on the shelf and go to a salon to look for your shampoo and conditioner. You'll get better results with what ever you choose. Good luck.

My girlfriend is going through cosmetology school. Contrary to what the makers of head and shoulders want you to think, it can actually make your dandruff worse. Your best bet is to pick up a conditioner from your hair cutter or any salon. You pay a little more but the quality is much better. Look for Revlon or Matrix products.

You can not mix a conditioner with a shampoo. Just use the shampoo and conditioner separately for best results.
