Hi!

My guess is that you are at a point in life where you are having to think about becoming more independent, such as approaching the end of your school life or moving away from home, getting your first main job or thinking about college, university or career. Both dreams may be linked to your subconscious helping you realise that, while others will be there for you, the choices you make are what's really important now. No-one, familiar or admired from afar, can take away the decision that you have to make, while in turn you can not aspire to live another persons life but must make what you can of your own.

Good wishes.

Dreams usually reflect a situation or problem in your waking life. perhaps, you are feeling sad about some situation ( which only you know) at present regarding something that might affect your closeness to your family, thus the tears of family members. When anyone is feeling sad, each person usually goes to his/her room ( represented by the rooms/doors in corridor) this is just how the mind reflects it in a dream.

The dreams are an outlet for your fear of losing the safety and security that you have with your family. Maybe you are going somewhere temporarily and thus the worries of not having family around??

The second dream reflects insecurities you feel with someone or some situation, thus the isolation in the storm at sea. Being in doubt means something is not right. It is a message dream telling you to sort it out and deal with it. Make the right decision. That's why they keep reoccurring. They will stop once you have solved the difficulty.

Maybe these two dreams are connected. 1. the fear of losing security of your home. 2. Insecurities lie in some decision or situation you are presently experiencing, thus the dreams.

Either way, it indicates your closeness with family and that you find your security with them.

I've had a very similar experience so i'll give my opinion for what it's worth. Don't want to pry on your spiritual life or get into religious blab, but due to my experience and for my opinions sake and the hope of helping u out my first thought while reading ur situation was "is this person a Christian?" , if so i imagine you have some family members or friends that are hurting to fill a God shaped hole that christ can only fill and the dream is prolly God sent to stir your hearts compassion for them. If ur not a christian, than may i confedently say that God has somethin bigger than u could ever imagine planned for your life and is gently tugging at ur hearts strings to present the offer to take part in somethin bigger than all you've ever known with and thru him. In both dreams everyone seems to be perishing around you uncontrollably. The fact is that everyone's gonna die, u me and everyone around us. If we're lucky we've got 60 or so years. Fact.. Death smiles at us all, Christ simply yet divinely offers a means of smiling back :D. Much luv.

The first thing I thought after reading your dreams is something regarding being alone or on your own or away from security is working its self out in your sleep.

My opinion only.

Possibly, you are afraid of being alone or are realising that, like everybody on earth, you really only have yourself and this moment and nothing more.
Could it be that in your first dream the people you love are crying because you have grown up or moved on and feel bad for not needing them as much any more?

These are just ideas of mine and I hope you will not take any offense if I am wrong. You will figure out the meaning!

Maybe you are afraid of losing those you love. You feel secure with your family, but eventually you will have to make it on your own, to become independent. And the star is a stranger you feel insecure about, your dream expresses your fear of not finding a trustworthy significant other.
Just my speculations, don't take it seriously, and sorry if I'm wrong about you.

It sounds like you have a fear of being alone. But in everyday life you don't let anyone know this, you try and appear to be independent but when you sleep your subconscious is acting out in your dreams what you are really feeling. Maybe you should talk to someone close that you trust to air your fears of being alone.
