the only logical solution is to worship every single God that has ever been conceived of, plus some extras that you make up just in case. The praying will take up all your free time, but you never can be too careful when you're dealing with eternal life.

You are worse off being an athiest if you become disturbed when the death thought enters your consciousness.
It seems that many athiest are aware that there is no meaning to life beyond what we attribute to it and there is no diety. If there were some unimaginably stupendous super- being, "It" does not percieve you as an individual; you don't register with "It" as a distinct entity and "It" is indifferent to what you say or believe. For you to worry that It could become annoyed with you, that your thoughts could trigger jealousy, is to an athiest, an absurdity. Mature people are usually not they knew you preferred someone elses company. A god is probably well-balanced enough to not get too shook up.
An athiest thinks more clearly and does less harm because an athiest is free to think. As an athiest you won't participate in mobs; you don't need me to name examples of the various mobs do you? They just might formn up again and no one needs that. (Incidentally, each marching mobster believes that his deity is observing each marcher's good faith, approving of each individual yelling ant as the streaming display runs on at adventure.)
You are better off as an athiest when you can accept that death will happen to you - you will die, and there is no way to prevent it from eventually happening. Know this is true but remain quiet calm and do not be troubled by it. Rudimentary religions arose to set aside the reality of death. Religions are so important to people and religions clash because, if what you cling to is not true, then a meaningless end to the functioning of your body and the vanishingof your person is too scary. If you can overcome anxiety about dying andf live a life of solid integrity you will find that being an athiest is noble, rewarding and holy.

I'm a Christian and it says in the Bible that many cults and disasters will happen towards the end of the world and false religions will emerge but that people will have the opportunity to still choose the right religion.....I think that if/when that happens that it would be obvious which is the right religion....but I don't know, people have different beliefs. I mean, being an atheist would pretty much be the same as believing in the "wrong" religion wouldn't it? You'd still go to hell or wherever it is such people go, but it's nice to have something to believe in.

Why would you be better off, you don't have to "worship" any of the religions. Just keep an open mind, rather than a knee jerk reaction of "god doesn't exist" Many respected scientists don't slam the door on the possibility of something other than space and time, multiverses, N theory P theory etc.

I don't have the time to tell you my whole life story on here, but trust me, I definitely would not be better off being an atheist. I went through some hard times in my life, and during many of those hard times, God seemed to be the only one who was with me. I honestly don't know where I would be without Him.

You're an athiest, why does it matter to you what people believe in or not?
Almost everybody believes in something, no matter how similar or different one religion is, we will all end the same way, and will discover afterlife.

In my eyes it's all the same. You'd still be believing something either way that was incorrect. At least you'd get some pseudo comfort believing in your own idea of a God.

no cause at the end of the day, the only thing that beliveing in god will do for anyone is give them hope and somepeople already have that on their own so basically it dosnt matter what you do as long as you stay positive cause everyones outcome will be the same.
if you watch the movie/documentry "what the bleep down the rabbit hole" you will see proof (scientific) about what positive thinking does to people.
