Yeah! Also, how can we explain male pattern baldness as anything other than punishment from a terrible and wrathful God?

I have a better question for you.
Mammals with fur when faced with a threat from a predator have a physiological reflex which makes their hair stand up straight rather than lay flat, the effect is to make the animal look bigger and hence less appealing as prey.
Humans have this reflex, but no hair, so the reflex serves no purpose. Why would we mysteriously have a useless reflex like this?
Also, I think that the selective pressure against hairy humans was to more efficiently synthesize vitamin D. It's also the reason that some populations of humans in certain geographical locations experienced selective pressure to have white skin, which also allows for more efficient vitamin D synthesis. But, more recently there's selection against hairy people because of mating preference.

I'm not an atheist, but since I get two points for answering, I'll take a swing at it.
Humans have NOT stopped evolving. Although it is a slow process that can't be seen in even 10,000 generations, humans will continue to evolve as long as the species exists. That's just the way it is.
As for why we don't have fur, the answer is that we didn't need it in Africa, where our original population is. The humans who migrated away from the plains and jungles of our mother continent used their big brains and opposable thumbs to adapt to many environments that are hostile to our bare, tender skin. Back in Africa, we don't need any clothing. But humans like clothing and use it now for social reasons.
Other higher mammals also have no fur. Elephants and whales come to mind as ones without fur, and they also have big brains and take care of their young for a long time, like we humans do.
It'll be peachy when we've evolved far enough to figure out their languages so we can have conversations with them.

In the tropics, it is already a foretaste of the place we have been consigned to by many theists. Any additional fur will be carrying things too fur. There are atheists in the tropics too.
Further, the point of 'survival of the fittest' is that mankind has evolved to such an extent that they can modify the environment (e.g.,by wearing clothes) and survive. It is the gray matter that has evolved.
Integral fur cannot be taken off. Clothes can be, when needed.

One way is that we lost our extra hair due to the extreme temperatures in safari weather in Africa, where the human race supposedly originated.
Another theory is, Ice age was much too cold for the fur we once had, therefore, with our advanced brains, we thought "let's wear fur from other animals as extra protection against cold"
From then on we have developed a habit of wearing clothes and we gradually lost our own fur due to the fact that we didn't need it as we could make them from other animals, and don't forget, the temperature is an important factor here.

The same reason wooly mamooths [i can't spell, lol] aren't around. It got warmer.
I'm an athiest who has read books for and agaist evolution, and I can honestly say I don't know if it's true or false. But I don't believe we all just *wham bam thank you mam* came here, fully developed and ready to build shopping malls. But I'll stick with the theory till they find a better one.
If you want a better answer, I have the source link. But I don't think you do. Most of these questions are just meant to stirr anger and debate.

Who said evolution has stopped?
We don't have fur because (for some reason) It stopped being attractive, thus, those with less hair made more babies.

We can understand why there is variety within a specie. Evolution cannot explain appearance of new species and mutation that they claim could have done this is only destructive.
The precision in life is so much to fully support an Almighty designer.

we have fine hair that covers our bodies... only on the palms of our hands the soles of our fee and our lips are without hair.... we evolved to have less fur, evolution has an order to it... and stopped before we had no hair left... for the hair still serves a purpose...

Bajingo: Why has it been proven time and time again that any species will adapt to its environment with prolonged exposure to it.
We do not need clothes, it is a social thing as to why we wear clothes.
OMG "Evolution" ( I believe in that, but I won't laugh at what you chose to believe, thats disrespectful)

Are you not warm enough in your clothes and house? And what makes you think we've stopped evolving?
