Ric, I got to tell you, religion has almost nothing to do with God, and everything to do with politics. Organized religion in today's world is a man made system designed by men to manipulate other men (and women of course), it rarely if ever glorifies God. God transcends such foolishness. The Universe is pretty simple, either you serve God, or you don't. The rest is B.S. Anytime another person tells you "this is what God wants", odds are good that person is conning you. If you want to know God, it has to be a personal relationship, one on one, you and Him. You don't need a Priest, or a Rabbi or a Shek or anyone else for that matter, and God certainly didn't ask for a middleman. Jerimiah 23 says it better than I can, but ultimately no one stays "good" or "bad" it verys with circumstance. God tends to do as he pleases, and our choice is simple. Either we side with God and win, or we don't and lose. Later bro.

I'm a deist, so I do believe in God. I don't believe God actively interferes in humanity or the laws of the Universe - Although I do believe he does passively, in ways we cannot understand.

Nor do I believe he punishes someone for not believing. I believe an all powerful being doesn't need slaves. I'm pretty sure an all wise being would perfectly understand why some don't believe, after all we live in a physical universe that relies on science for answers.

I believe people who commit great evils have to answer for those crimes, though not necessarily for an eternity unless that person is truly evil and irredeemable (assuming that's even possible).

Unfortunately your grammar on this question makes it a bit unclear, but I think you're asking why religions have God judge people if we are all ultimately good. Well, my only answer, as an evangelical Christian, is that we are NOT all ultimately good. In fact, we are all ultimately sinful and deserving of hell. (Romans 3:23) Luckily, however, God loves us and through our faith in him has offered us the gift of eternal life in heaven.

Hope that helps!

Remember that God judges our motives, not just our good deeds. Most of us do our good deeds to build up our self pride. Somehow I don't think that makes us good in God's eyes.

Besides, I don't think the point has much to do with being good but rather wanting to be with our Creator. I think God grants us what we want either to be with Him or independent of Him.

God, No God
No Different
God,
Did God stop the peoples who use his name to gain their own benefits?
-The Islam extremist who brain wash their people to become Human Bomb for their own hatred and believe.
-Some Budhist who use Budha words to gain money and status.
-Some Christian who use Jesus words to gain money and status, or even benefit politically.

Did God help those who believe him to know the truth, or just let those people believe the words from the so call God servants.

Even got God, we still suffers, we still need to clarify his words ourselves , we still need to find a way to help ourselves, we still need to face the unknown, we still need to judge which religion is telling the truth.

So GOD, no GOD, what is the different??

Because we are not ultimately good people. Humans are inherently evil. That's why it's important to realize that there is only one way to Heaven-perfection (and nobody is) or forgiveness of sins. Only Christianity provides a solution for our conscience and our human condition. That's because only Christianity provides Jesus, who died on a cross so that your innate evil would be forgiven. Believe in him and repent of your sins, and you can receive eternal life in Heaven. I pray that you will.

Because religion claims that they are the middle-man even though God has never mentioned the word religion.

not in the sence na God will judge us when we are still living in this world. He can only judge us when we enter into the time when we are dead, there is a term for that that is the judgement day.He judge us because He alone is good, it also says that God created us in His own image,so if God is good we are also good,

Because some religions believe that you can't be a good person without that religion.

Hi I'm Catholic, not religious but from my opinion, God does not judge us on what we have done.

angels go to heaven
devils go to hell or stay in heaven

The question is, are you still an angel or become a devil not base on what you did on earth but what you really are inside.
