You should take her to the vet in the morning, as you are planning, but you do not need to do anything tonight unless she has trouble breathing.

It could be anything from nothing to worry about, such as a tiny broken blood vessel that popped during a hard sneeze, to something she has snuffed up her nose, to something really serious such as cancer.

Try not to worry tonight. The vet will find out what it is and treat it.

She does need to see the vet in the morning, because any likely cause of the problem will require a vet's attention to solve. Possible causes include injuries, foreign body in the nose, infections, and viruses (although with infections and viruses you usually see a cat do quite a bit of sneezing before the problem becomes serious enough to cause the sneezing of blood).
Think of a human nose bleed and imagine what it would look like if the person sneezed while having a nose bleed and you can see that the spraying of blood would be the logical result. You may want to confine the cat to the bathroom or other small area where it's easier to clean up (peroxide cleans blood off of carpets very well, btw).

One thing you can do that may temporarily help with the symptoms, is to put a little vaseline on the cat's nose, vaseline will help minimize the bleeding (in fact, vaseline on a qtip put up the nose is a good way to stop a human nosebleed) and add moisture to the nose should the nose be too dry.

Also making sure the cat has a warm place to lay if she wants it, is a good idea. Cats tend to seek warmth if they aren't feeling good. A heating pad on low under a thick towel makes a nice warm comfortable bed that if the cat wants extra warmth, she will definitely appreciate!

Also note if the cat has been eating and drinking normally, using the litter normally, etc, what the cat may have been doing right before you noticed the symptoms, etc.

If the cat bleeds in large amounts or shows any other bleeding except the nosebleed, or if there's any possibility at all that the cat could have gotten into any kind of poison, then the cat should be seen by the vet as quickly as possible. A number of rodent poisons and other poisons work by keeping blood from clotting and if a pet who has ingested one of these poisons is seen by a vet soon enough, the vet is very likely to be able to give an effective antidote to stop the poison's effects, and in this case, the sooner an animal can be treated, the better.

If she is sneezing non-stop, having trouble breathing, or bleeding anywhere else call the emergency service and get her in now. If she seems to be acting normally, is not panting, is willing to eat/drink/play, then you can probably wait until morning. It could be an upper respiratory infection, although they rarely sneeze blood with that type of problem. She may have gotten some sort of foreign object stuck in her nose, and is trying to get it out on her own. If she has gotten into any rat poison or any other toxins, it could be that it was a normal sneeze but her blood is really thin, so it turned into a bloody sneeze. There are a few other rare things like tumors that could cause it, but that's really unlikely in a one year old cat if she has just started doing this now. That's all i can think of off the top of my head, but definitely call the vet tomorrow to see what they say. good luck with her - i hope she's okay!

The lining in her nose is bleeding. Is she breathing ok? Does it sound ragged or liquidy? Is there any red dripping OUT of her nose? If it's just the sneezes, and the breathing is normal or mostly normal, she should be ok till morning.

Stay calm. Get in to the vets soon as they open, to have them take a look at her.

Your cat could have something as simple as a scratch in its nose or throat, or a broken blood vessel that would cause it to sneeze blood. Or it could be something as serious as a form of cancer. Either way, I would get her to the vet as soon as you can! Good luck!

It could be an upper respiratory infection,a growth in the nasal canal or sinuses,or a foreign body lodged in the nasal canal.I wouldn't freak out about it unless it's pouring blood. The cat will be OK until morning.
