I believe in God and do not practice or believe witchcraft so I am not Wiccan. I love nature, the forest, the Green Man, I spend all the time that I can out in nature. What am I? Is there a religion or group of nature-worshippers like me? Can someone direct me?

I hate it when my words are picked apart. I love it when my words are read with understanding, instead of people that try to find a funny double-meaning. So thanks for the serious answers. Really. :D

Please read a great book entitled, "What's Your God Language"
What you are is a naturalist. You feel closest to God and at your most Spiritual when you are surrounded by His creation. You might try doing much of your prayer, Bible reading, and practice their. However, don't turn so far inward that you forget your Christian service to the community!
You are not a Wiccan, and I would guess that you do not actually worship nature (as a god itself).
Read that book, it will really help you understand how you best communicate with God, based on how He made you!

Not all Christians feel closest to their God in church.
Some feel closest out in nature.
There's not a thing wrong with that.
As for groups, I wish I could help you more, but the best I could come up with is this, a Christian environmental group. They do have nature walks, which might interest you.
http://www.sageoxford.org.uk/:
BTW, just so you know, "naturist" is often used as a synonym for "nudist", so be aware of that in your efforts to find a group, if that's not part of what you are looking for.

By definition a christian is one who worships christ. Maybe you are a naturalist. However you say you worship nature. Most religions recognise the importance of nature, for christians it is the manifestation of christs work and laws. Buddism and Islam are especially concerned with nature, and Wicca is another. Is your love of nature really religious? What ceremonies do you perform in the name of nature? Do you pray to nature?
Lots of peole love nature and there are probably many nature loving groups, but nature is everywhere. It cannot be hidden. Perhaps you need to be more specific. Do you like hiking, gardening, camping, natural medicine, farming, and so on?

I can't help you, but I can say: Don't stress so much about fitting yourself into a neat box, and don't let other Christians tell you that you're not a real/good/true Christian. I HATE hearing that. Your relationship with God is between YOU and GOD. Don't let other people tell you you're defying him or blaspheming or something. I mean, it depends on how much you want to fit in with any official denomination and how literally you take the bible, but I say your beliefs are your own. I think people who try to speak about what GOD WANTS need to take a step back and realise what they're saying, personally.. How presumptuous to assume you can speak for god.
Anyway, good luck, I'm sure there are other god-loving naturalists like yourself out there. :)

There are a lot of us, who are Christian, but also believe in
nature. The two are compatable. By the way, the name Wicca
means wisdom, or wise one in old Gaelic. It was not a group of witch's doing human sacrifices. Back to us. We are modern man. As a modern Christian, we are locked into what
it means if we lose nature on this planet. Welcome to the world. Let the others who have blinders on slip away. We have evolved beyond the right wing theology.

You are a child of God and Mother Earth!
God loves Mother Earth with all that He is.......
With that, your invitation to the marriage supper of the Lamb is sealed.
Gotta know both the Father and the Mother to enter into this private engagement.

My group is called "Pathwalkers of the Woodland Realms" because unlike many groups that dictate a set of beliefs and practices, we believe everyone should follow that Path that they resonate with, and our teachings give a Seeker an eclectic set of tools to put in their belt as they decide for themselves how they believe and practice. We have folks in our group who call themselves Christo-Pagans who probably have a similar feeling as you. One very spiritual lady tells me she sees Jesus as her avatar, which I think is incredible! We also have Buddha-Pags and other strange mishmashed beliefs going on, which are as individual as individuals are, and that makes perfect sense to me. I know there are traditionalists who are cringing at me and scoffing, but we have experienced a wonderful and beautiful and amazing depth and diversity of spirituality BECAUSE we don't dictate. We don't advertise and I'm not putting up a link, just wanted to give a little different perspective and let you know that there are many kinds of groups out there. If you're seriously looking for a group, put up a note or email me privately and let us/me know what area you're in. I'm in the Seattle area. One other suggestion: go out to your favorite wild area where you feel the most "at home", and put your wish out there. Write it on a piece of paper, put your energy into it and burn it, or whisper it to the wind or a tree. Who knows what will come? You may be incredibly surprised. But I recommend you keep your spirituality intact and don't bend it for anyone. Hugs and bright blessings!

Love and worship are not the same things.
I think you're confusing your reverence and love for Creation with worship?
You dont have to become a pagan.
Just get the difference between reverence and worship sorted out!

You're confused. But if you believe in the Green man and "worship nature" then you are NOT a christian. In christianity, nature is created by god... it is not a god or entity to worship. If you want to be a christian, fine. If you want to be a wiccan, fine. But you can't be both.

If you are a Christian, Go take a hike in the woods, go sit next to a lake and worship the true God that created nature, and quit worshiping something that he made, that cant help you in any way. if you cant do that, I wonder about your salvation, for the Bible states worship the Lord thy God and him alone worship.
