there is no set time for a child to sprout teeth. some babies get some at 3 months and others it can be up to 17 months.

i wouldn't worry about this too much-especially if your pediatrician didn't seem concerned. if you're overly worried about it-you can talk to your child's doctor but chances are the teeth will grow when ready.

The timing of when your baby's first tooth comes in can vary quite a bit.
Although the average age for getting their first baby tooth is 6 months, some infants don't get their first tooth until they are 14 or 15 months old. Others can begin teething and get an early baby tooth at 3 months.

Both my children were over 10 months before they got their first tooth, and a friend of mine all 3 of her children were over 12 months and now have all their teeth. You might find that when they start coming, many will come together

my niece's baby will be 10 months old next week and just got his first 2 teeth last week. i'm sure your baby will get teeth very soon, but you should probably make an appointment just to make sure. Good Luck! i hope everything turns out ok! : )

cheers,
Shauna!

SHAMILA,
AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE CHART BELOW THE AGE SHOULD BE FROM 6-10 MONTHS FOR THE APPEARANCE OF THE BABY'S FIRST TOOTH, BUT THIS IS NOT ALWAYS WRITTEN IN STONE.

If you were nursing your baby, you would appreciate the late teeth! They'll come when it's time.
