OK, well here's some of mine I can think of right now.
Favorite non-fiction story: My Dog Skip by Willie Morris. Read this one a long time ago but I remember really enjoying it.
Favorite fiction book: Lochinvar Luck by Albert Payson Terhune (I'm a big fan of dog fiction, but this is one of my faves)
Favorite genetics book: Control of Canine Genetic Diseases by George Padgett. (Really interesting book, believe it or not)
Favorite competitive obedience book: Playtraining Your Dog by Patricia Gail Burnham and Beyond Basic Dog Training by Diane Bauman (but it's been a few years since I've trained competitively. I know there's a lot of new books out)
Favorite new puppy book: Before & After Getting Your Puppy by Ian Dunbar (but I haven't read too many of these type)
Favorite all-breed book: Perfect Match by Chris Walkowicz. (Not profusely illustrated, but the descriptions of the breeds are really good.)

WHere the Red Fern Grows--I read it a billion jillion times when I was a kid and gave it to my son to read for one of his "book list" books at school. He came home off the bus sobbing one day, and I asked him what was wrong. He said "Why did you make me read that book, mom, the dogs die in the end!" It took a whole day of comforting him to make him feel better.
Picture book--"Shelter Dogs" I have a lot of books about animal shelters that I am working through.
I don't really have training books--I guess I just did it all by instinct. I know I did plenty of stuff wrong, but the dogs are pretty well behaved for me (the pup barks too much, however) I guess asking for help on "answers" gave me all the tips I needed.

My favourite booklet may be "Merle's Door" via Ted Kerasote. I want all puppies might are living like Merle. The booklet had such a lot well experience in it and the creator need to particularly fully grasp puppies. (I learn tons of puppy books however it kind of feels to stay my favourite). "Mostly Bob" via Tom Corwin. Is an excessively brief booklet. It is the real tale of a puppy who went by way of years of anguish and overlook. He was once then ready to difference his possess existence for the higher. How he did it suggests how shrewd puppies can also be. Those are 2 of my favorites. Some others I favored are. I additionally favored a couple of books via Stanly Coren PhD. He is a professor of psychology at U.B.C. "Its a Dogs Life however its your carpet" Justine A. Lee DVM. Factual and humorous solutions to average and offbeat questions approximately puppies. "The Dog Who Loved Too Much" Tales therapies and the psychology of puppies. Dr. Nicholas Dodman. Interesting for the studies of a few extraordinary behaviors that puppies will have.
