I had a filling on my 2nd incisor on the left side of my mouth, upper jaw. Anyhow, a few minutes ago, I was flossing between my teeth, and the floss got stuck inbetween my two incisors, and when I finally dislodged the floss, I realized that my filling came out WITH the floss. I got this filling less than a year ago.
Can I get this fixed? And do you think my dental insurance will cover this?
Thank you.

THE DISCRESSION IS ON THE DENTIST AS TO WHETHER HE WANTS TO CHARGE YOU OR NOT.
MY OPINION IS THAT IF IT WAS 6 MONTHS OR LESS IT SHOULD BE FIXED FOR FREE. USUALLY THE INSURANCE WON'T PAY FOR THE SAME PROCEDURE THIS SOON AFTER FIXING IT THE FIRST TIME.

i had a filling come out a few months afterwards and my dentist fixed it for free. it was a minor filling, so it took all of about 10 minutes to fill both times, but it never happened again and that was a few years ago...

btw, what kind of floss are you using? if you've had fillings done, you should use the Glide floss. i floss 2 or 3 times a day depending on what i eat and i love it. i've had lots of dental work done so i have to use this kind of floss.

i hope they'll fix it for you! Good Luck! : )

cheers,
Shauna!

your insurance should cover it. the dentist didn't do his job right. in fact I think he should fix it free!!!
