Because taking religion and spiritual books too literally will always split and faction faiths instead of bringing them together. Looking at the spiritual truth of the religions to see common ground, is what brings together. Too much literalism breeds separation, hate and violence.

It is because all 3 religions are the ones that make most sense and also because all 3 of them have a lot of common links.
Also because people who claim to be Muslims are terrorizing the US (a Christian country)
Jews attacked Palastine (a Muslim country)
Christians attacked Iraq (a Muslim country)
Jews Rule the white house and the media causing the white house to help them against Palastine so America can get rid of Jews by giving them their own country
Palastine (also known as jerusalem) had history with all 3 religions.

I don't believe they hate each other in general. Yes, some followers of each do dislike one another, because they feel their religion is best.
All three religions worship the same God, and have a lot in common. It might be the commonality that causes the disagreements; Muslims, Christians, and Jews are all like cousins who argue despite being related.

Answer to that question is very simple. I have a huge family, we all used to get along quite well until a few manipulaters turned one family member against the other. That "love" eventually turned into hatred. In a way, that's how the 3 religions have ended up. They are all speaking the word of God, they are or at least supposed to be like a family. But a few rotten eggs came along one day and spoiled things for everyone. The end...

Well i don't like this debate so much as it tends to fuel anger up even more, but personally, i don't understand how anyone can take religion so seriously. Things have changed and evolved over 1000-2000yrs so why hasn't this? There is only one reason i can think of...fear! Dunno about other religions, but christians about 200yrs ago had the cane for beating people who didn't believe in god and were afraid to say anything incase they got caned for it. 500yrs ago, they burnt people accusing them of being witches! Its just fear to make them believe in it and everything. Religion isn't good cos we all have our own unique beliefs! And i will not let a 2,000yr old 'fear' change the way i live and what i believe.
As urselves this in whatever religion u believe in...If there was no fear of regection, pain, or anything bad to think what u believe in urself, would u still believe religion? Its just personal belief. If u do believe in ur religious ways, thats fine with me :) Just remember to keep an open mind and embrace new ideas

Because they are so much alike.
Listen to any fundamentalists--those who like their religion in its purest form--from any of the three, and they sound exactly the same.
The nature of the Abrahamic faiths is to
1. Hate
2. Splinter
That's why there are so many sects among each of the three major branches, many of whom hate each other, too.
You get Orthodox and Reformed, Protestant and Catholic, Sunni and Shiite.
I never heard of Confucianism folx starting wars with each other, or Taoists. Ever see feng shui practitioners draw blood or destroy each other's buildings over how the windows were placed? NO! The only belief system rife with discord and bloodshed is the Abrahamic one, and that's because it is presumptuous, exclusionary, violent and invasive by nature.

I think that with the exception of some types of extremists that exist within all three groups, none of them are taught to hate each other. Quite the contrary, religion is best suited to promote love, peace, and understanding. However, man has never been good at living up to those lofty goals.
The reason may be that these people are feeling threatened because of a disagreement of beliefs, or a misunderstanding of them. I for one think that these groups, even here in Y!A, don't really hate each other, but rather simply disagree.

Not true. God blessed Isaac as the promised child and all of his decendents will be blessed. Ishmeal was only blessed as a numerous peoples.
Genessis 17: 19 - 22 19Then God said: “No, Sarah your wife shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his descendants after him. 20And as for Ishmael, I have heard you. Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly. He shall beget twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation. 21But My covenant I will establish with Isaac, whom Sarah shall bear to you at this set time next year.” 22Then He finished talking with him, and God went up from Abraham.

I don't think Muslims hate Jewish or Christians, Muslims hate transgressors who occupy their lands, kill their children and women, destroy their countries and fight them for what they believe.
I don't think there are ant true Jewish or Christian today
Quran005.066
YUSUFALI's Interpretation of the meaning:
If only they had stood fast by the Law, the Gospel, and all the revelation that was sent to them from their Lord, they would have enjoyed happiness from every side. There is from among them a party on the right course: but many of them follow a course that is evil.
Quran005.068
PICKTHAL's Interpretation of the meaning:
Say O People of the Scripture! Ye have naught (of guidance) till ye observe the Torah and the Gospel and that which was revealed unto you from your Lord. That which is revealed unto thee (Muhammad) from thy Lord is certain to increase the contumacy and disbelief of many of them. But grieve not for the disbelieving folk.
