It's a new relationship. Things are good, we like each other. I'm looking for general tips on how to stay afloat.

Agree on the important things (sex, money, and children), and don't sweat the rest of the small stuff (and it *is* mostly small stuff).

Oh, and don't ever go to bed angry at the other person-- patch things up as best you can, then move on.

Don't move too fast and if you find yourself changing for him/her in a way that makes you uncomfortable, reassess your situation.
