Every time i put in the sims bustin' out i would click the disc and the playstation sign will come up and the the main screen, help!

It is The Sims Bustin' out, the disk is perfectly clean.
It will work but once it gets up to the playstation 2 logo comes up it will go straight back to the menu screen, Help??

If you want to clean the lens, remember - opening your PS2 voids warranty. Don't clean your lens with cleaning discs(with brushes). Instead, get an especial spray with pressurized air(you can get them from a professional electronics store). Just point that spray at the lens - spray gently. If lens is very dirty - there is another professional electronics cleaning liquid spray - same store.

Whatever you do, don't use a paper towel on the disc, it's made up of tiny scratching fibers. Instead, use a dry cotton cloth. If it doesn't work you can get it fixed, but it would be easier to just buy a new disc. Though it might not be the disc itself, it could possibly be your ps2's lens.

Rinse the disk in warm water with a few drops of dishwashing liquid rubbing it between your fingers until it is literally "sqeaky" clean. Then dry it off good with a paper towel or clean cloth and try playing it again. This has worked for me lots of times.
If that doesn't work, buy a CD lens cleaner and run it on your playstation. That has also worked for me.
