Getting drunk. Most kids have tried some kind of booze by the time they are about 15. Most of us have done it and we turned out fine. I don't have a real problem with catching a kid with weed either except that it is against the law. I know underage drinking is too but the penalty is much lower.

I'd rather not have to catching him or her doing either. If they want to drink, they can tell me and I'll go get it for them. Kids are going to drink, weather you want them to or not. I'd rather they did it under my roof so that I could watch them and make sure they don't die of alcohol posioning then have them sneak off and hurt themselves by driving drunk, doing something stupid, or getting to sick and dying on me.

I'd rather not have to bury my child because they decieded to drink behind my back, or got in a horrific car crash after drinking.

As far as the weed goes, same thing. Its illegal and all, but not the worse thing for them to do. But that is where my tolerance of drugs end. No cocain, herion, acid, PCP, or anything else like that.

Of course, I'd rather that they didn't smoke, but hell- I drank as a teen and I have smoked weed a few times. (didn't like the weed)

Weed. I've done both and I feel there is more self control with pot. Drinking causes you to vomit ,passout, act out,
crash cars etc...
Weed causes you to be lazy and eat alot.
From my experience in my younger years girls used " Well I was drunk" as an excuse for sleeping around and doing alot of things they normally wouldn't do.

Terrible choice. But I'll have to go with drunk. Weed is illegal, and I've seen it too many times lead to far worse things. Either way, rest assured she'll live to regret it.

Weed, especially if they are NOT drinking. If i had a choice on if my kid would use alcohol or weed, i would pick weed.

for one, it's not addictive, it's from the earth and it's the only "drug" that doesn't really make you loose control of yourself.

I would think that weed would be legal wayyy before alcohol. think of the effects, and if you ask me i'd much rather live next to someone who smokes a couple joints every now and then than someone who drinks a couple of bottles every now and then.

well neither is ideal really but i guess getting drunk is the less worrying of the two.

1) its not illegal (unless they are underage)
2) i have seen that in some cases, weed smokers eventually move onto harder drugs. Not always, but sometimes

weed!.. i have seen what both have done to many friends and people i kno. But it seems that weed has done the least amount of harm, less people injuried or dead. But hopefully when it comes time for her to choose than she will listen to her mother and pick neither!

Neither, but I'd have to say getting drunk.

It doesnt matter because either way they are going to get their butt whooped.

If I had to choose it would be drinking.
