Yup, several times, and I did ignore one time...... I knew that doing something would create a few problems for me, and I made the choice to do nothing, those few problems turned into BIG ones for awhile........... then Praise the Lord, it all changed, because I did confess and repent and God in his mercy stepped in...... go in peace........ God bless

No. God never puts heavy things on my heart, if I have something heavy on my heart it is because of some person's doings or my own. God lifts my spirits if that happens, he puts the wind in my sails when I work to solve my or other's problems that seem so heavy. No. God doesn't do that. No loving Father would ever do that! So, if you heart is heavy, you're putting the cause of it on the wrong personality.

Yes,but then conviction takes place as well as a quick rebuke. Why?Because most things I respond to on cue.But the one thing that weighs very mightily and often on my heart is sharing the Gospel with my lost Catholic loved ones. Why?Because it is usually one's own family that is the hardest to reach. And every few years I'm burdened with the call to try again. And each time there is an atomic fallout. And the other Christians in my family do not feel or believe it necessary to reach them.Prayer is wonderful as is patience in letting the Holy Spirit work on their hearts. But it is every Christian's duty to share the Gospel with all within their reach in life. This happened today as a matter of fact. But I'll endure and persevere, and in the future if laid on my heart will be a fool for Christ's sake.Hope someone else gets the call, though.I prefer to plant seeds and move on to the harvest and forward to the next planting season. Some will take root, others will fall by the wayside.Sadly, some in my family are prostrate by the wayside.

Yes and no. He has put something heavy on my heart, but I don't know what it really is. I try figuring it out and end up ignoring it.

Absolutely. I try not to ignore things like that, because the more you put it off, the more convicted/heavy your heart becomes. It's not a comfortable thing to know that you are supposed to do something, and you won't do it.

I don't understand what that means. I wonder if it means those things I sometimes think that weigh my heart down and make me feel like I should do something, but I don't always know what. Like when I feel sorry for someone?
