Life alone is just that, lonesome, and I think the problem is not so much having been BORED-- but feeling un-satisfied, or un-fulfilled with the kids constant drain on me, his drain on me, and my life being out of balance, my spirit was not being fed, my femininity was not being appreciated or nurtured, and I sort of disappeared in the midst of everyone ELSE'S needs.
Look around for some YOU and a GAL PAL time, or just YOU time, that is awfully important.

Ha, yeah. The notion creeps into my head now and again as I am a young mother and I often wish i could go out and have fun with my younger friends without having to worry about things.
I love my daughter though and wouldn't change it for the world. I love my fiance too, but there are times I wonder if maybe I would be happier if I was single. Then he does something amazing to show me why I love him so much and the thoughts go away. They come back periodically, but for the most part I am happy.

Well my dear. I am single now. not by choice.. It is hard work at times to be a wife and Mother. But then it is tough at time to be a husband and father. every minute is worth it. Some of it or all of it can be gone with a snap of a finger. The joy you find one day when your children are grown and out and you and your husband can say job well done. You see like I said I am single not by choice. My husband died suddenly almost 9 years ago. To see his body in a body bag tends to change one forever. I would give anything to have him back with all of his little annoying habits, his shoes not put away his pajamas on the floor..I have 3 grown kids...So hang in there....

Been a wife and mother for 33 years. Never bored. Never been single. But if anything were to happen to my husband and I found myself single, I would remain single. But would never want to be childless.

sometimes i do but then i think about it more and i cant imagin life without them
