Now you come back asking this question.
Huh!! I am tired.
You know how to be Atheist? easy!!
No.1 be an Idiot.
No. 2 Hate your parents and blame them for causing you being here, in the world.
No.3. Go and drink a lot of alcohol and get drunk , No rules against it ,
No.4. Go and have free sex , no rules against it as Atheist dont believe in sin.
No.5. When you tired of life, killing yourself is not a problem, as there are no hell or heaven in Atheist's mind.
Just do what you like and tell yourself : Why Not??
Your life is on your hand and your own effort, you say Be ! and it is!
You dont need to worry, and you dont need to think too much just read other's atheist's opinion,.
I can go on and on.

Become stupid, arrogant, take candy away from babies and ENJOY doing it!
View the world as the glass HALF EMPTY
Believe in Science
Believe in Darwin (even if science no longer doesn't)
Read God Delusion by Richard Dawkins and buy into every work religiously
Put a picture of Carl Sagan on your wall
Learn phases like "invisible friend" and "sky daddy" and use these on people without fear
Tell people when they die they just become future Oil Reserves
Look at the glass as being HALF EMPTY
If you master all of this you get to call yourself an ATHEIST and be hated by 80% of the world!

To become atheist, stop believing in god. believe that this world does not have a god. Christians believing in god is like kids believing in the tooth fairy. You cant really become atherist just like that. Usually u are either atheist already or you arent. Atheist comes from the greek word atheos which means godless. But ask yourself, Is there really an all knowing super power or powers in this world? Do you think there is a god or gods in this world? You don't really become atheist but i guess you can convince yourself to reject the concept of a god.

Well, if you already have the non-belief in God then I'd have to say you already are . . . is there any sort of process? Wouldn't know, I'm not an atheist, but good luck in becoming one! :)

An atheist is a person who does have any belief to any God. Once you think that you believe in God, then you might as well consider yourself as an atheist. But it also means that you are against the religion.

Atheism is a belief. If you believe there isn't enough evidence to prove that deities exist, and that as such, for all means and purposes, deities don't exist, you're atheist. Congratulations.

Read two books to help make up your mind:
Christopher Hitchen's "God is Not Great"
and
"The God Delusion" of which the author escapes me.
If impatient, watch a video of Hitchens on YouTube. His lecture at Google is very well done.

Definition of Atheist- a person who denies or disbelieves the existence of a supreme being or beings
You either are Atheist or you aren't. It is a matter of belief

No rules or forms it is a matter of what your beliefs or maybe more accurately lack of beliefs are. It is real simple no tests, no sermons nothing just you and your mind. You can make it public or private but most people see no reason to hide it.

You don't "become" an athiest, as there is nothing to "practice." If you don't believe in any type of god existing, then you are an atheist.
