ahem... and you .. i would imagine... are the majestic Lion? The atheist being the ahem.... "odious Hyena" right?
Some People actually enjoy learning about things that they do not agree with. This way one can know the basis of anothers argument.

I can say with certainty that atheists are not hyenas and the rest of us are not lions... why exactly do you have a problem with atheists? If you get so up in arms about there being atheists, doesn't that reflect more on your own faith than theirs? Is your faith so unstable that you let them shake you?
Wow you cited scripture, so whatever argument you have must be true because it says so in your mythological texts!

It's a fool who says there must be something out there who did all of this. It's better to investigate and trust the science that has PROVEN many aspects of a different story. There is NO proof of a god out there... so why believe in it?
Atheists are here to try to get you people to understand you're not the ones running the country or the world, that there are other opinions and facts out here, and to keep an eye on what the religionists are up to so we can fight it in the political arena.

Atheists spend time in R and S because it interests them. Many questions in this section are directed at atheists, or at least can benefit from a different point of view.
Unless you are so insecure about your own views that you cannot stand to hear those of others, it should not bother you. I think the real problem is with the idiots, be they Christians, atheists, buddhists or anything else. Many people of Answers submit ridiculous answers in an attempt to feel better about themselves.

Well for the most part I think that there are three types of Atheists here.
1. The ones who SAY the don't believe but deep down would LOVE to find something to change their minds.
2. Those who come just to 'play'. They don't really respect anyone Else's views but their own and they love to hear themselves talk.
3. Those who genuinely believe that they are correct in their beliefs and respectfully wish to share their view with others.

So you lack the ability to answer questions? Or do you just enjoy calling people names. Easy to do you know. I am sure the Atheists could find a few appropriate names for you as well, but with questions like yours it isn't necessary.

It's "atheist". And are you saying I can't discuss anything that I don't believe in? I spend time in mythology, but that doesn't mean I have to worship Zeus. I just happen to know about the subject.

The subject interests me. I don't believe Darth Vader exists but I've had a conversation or two about said villain and about Star Wars in general. Have you ever discussed a fictional character?

I bet if 75% of the population believed in fairies, and you obviously knew they were delusional, you would be spending quite a bit of time in the mythology section.
