first i just want to say that i am not sure i believe in God. The Bible says that God put Adam and Eve on Earth. But there is alot of evidence that says we just evolved. I think that a guy wrote the Bible to give people hope, but someone took it a little too seriosly and made a religion based on it. So i think the Bible is just made up of fake stories.

Beautiful stories which must not be taken literally. One must get the message between the lines and not take as a fact that Jesus walked on a lake or changed water in wine. I would not say it is a novel, but it's not far... I just take it as a guideline in my life, what is good and what is not. Parables are great to explain things to children and even make adults ask questions they would not do normally and sometimes get the answers they are looking for.

I think the Lord of The Rings trilogy is full of just as much magical fantasy-fiction. But is better written than the Bible.
The only thing about the bible that don't think is entirely fictional is most of the human characters. I'm sure they really existed but I don't believe that Jesus was divine or magical.

Sorry to say that but it was something special sent down to guide...Lately and unfortunately corrupted of its divinity... Now no more a guide...and may at times be wrongly guided.
Its pitiful but its a fact, as is the fact that the plants exist and so does the sun and the fact that you have been reading this answer..Yes guys its hard to accept only because we have already framed our minds to not let ourselves think against it even a bit.
Let your minds open and let it be broad.. You will enjoy life on earth with its true meaning...

An old collection of myths used to try and explain the world, written by a group of ignorant men thousands of years ago. Not something to be taken seriously. They're like the stories in greek mythology, but much less entertaining.

here is my view about the Bible. i'll answer it from the Bible
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
II Timothy 3:16
That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.
II Timothy 3:17
King James Version

I think it was created from various stories and expericances of people......and was edited by the catholic church untill it became a document used to opress people. So I think the bible really means nothing and should not be followed at all.

The bible is the incomplete word of God which some have taken it upon themselves to twist to their way of thinking.

A book of beauty, instruction, life-saving, warnings, parables and illustrations for proper guidance, a bit scary at times, loving, truthful and eye-opening.

It's a book that have read in several translations, and in other languages.
It is convenient to be acquainted with its contents, since many writers allude to it.
It is not something I would rely upon for factual information.
