That's just wrong. They have no right to protest on an occasion like that. Soldiers actually fought for what they beleived in for everyone in america, and all the protestors do is stand there with signs and whine about what they think (not that it helps or anyone cares). That's so disrespectful!

Freedom of speech. 1st Amendment.

I don't like it but I will damn well support your right to do so.

Sorry, I love and respect our soldiers very much and as disgusting as would find a anti war protest at a funeral, the soldier died for the Constitution. We can not selectively chose what is right or wrong.

When in doubt refer to the Constitution.

I'm totally anti-war.

That was way beyond acceptable. That was sick.

My sorrow is with you.

Added:
I don't think it was about the fact that the person was a soldier, the person was a person and their choices were their own and to be respected.
The time for more warring is not at a funeral. That's a time to take a break and focus on the reality of war. The loss of life, a friend, a loved one, a child, aunt, uncle, mother or father, brother or sister. That's the outcome of war...more hate, more pain, and more loss.

Hey , Jay . Where were you at Kent state? I`m a Canadian an lost a few friends at your wonder full university. Guns + manpower do not make for a smart government. Protests are going to happen if you like it or not. What were you doing at those times? I was driving a truck hauling american products into Canada. I do not have any problems with our neighbours. I do not like our immigration policy and the rights of those immigrants to protest their rights in our country against the country they live in , while they defend their country of origin, using our country as a defense. It`s to late now , The bastards are here. But I also do not believe in fighting for a cause because some dick thinks this is what we need . Invading a country for the amusement of some sorry *** politician is also not right. Deal with the problems at home before blaming others. Bush is an idiot and will get you all blown up, And you buggers will drag us down with you.

Ummmmmm final I heard, our united states of america replaced into engaging in a 'warfare onTerror" remember the international commerce center? The Hijackers? Bin weighted down? Al-Qaeda? The Taliban? not one of the culprits are in Iraq, heck, there isnt even any WMD's in Iraq, come to think of of it, The Taliban wasnt even there till we tore it up.. seems to me, if this entire fiasco replaced into cope with wisely, Our Troops might've not at all been in Iraq. Afghanistan and Pakistan is the place the "warfare On Terror" somewhat IS.. yet I for sure dont anticipate the the terrific option Wingers to be certain via the fog there. You adult adult males are having issues determining "The Surge" nevertheless and how thats somewhat basically a smoke demonstrate.

I think they should go to jail and be charged with something on their record. Because of our soldiers past and present they have a right to protest, but at a funeral is simply inhumane.

I think it stinks and I hope more states pass laws to stop it. Around here, the bikers are fighting back by showing up to disrupt the protest and provide a type of "sound barrier" at military funerals.

I think that is very disrespectful. A funeral isn't the right place to protest... for being anti-war they sure don't have a heart !!

I believe people have the right to express their opinion however, there is a time and a place for that kind of activity , and it is NOT at someones funeral. That is rude, obnoxious, inconsiderate and disrespectful. That kind of behavior discredits their point of view, as it makes them look like fanatical fools.

Where's the guy who was in charge at Kent State when you need him? That's how I feel about it. Send them all to hell.

I am a combat veteran with two purple hearts. I'd do it all over again and I'd be doing it right now if they'd let me.

.......I'm sorry Legal. Looks like you're getting protesters here too- and they're not even American.
