There are so many travel companies. I can't believe that you have burned them all.

Just do what everybody in the world does. On your resume, never mention the bad and only talk about the good stuff.

Good for you for recovering. You can't change the past, but you can most certainly change the future.

You are not alone. I've been working with depression for over 10 years. The meds work (most of the time).

Couple of thoughts for you...

1. Everybody has a down day, but laughter can make a bad day a good day.

2. From Tony Robbins....attitude is painted physically on a persons posture, demeanour.
Bad being....sad, no confidence, slumped posture, no energy.
Good being...energetic, positive, friendly, supportive.

His point is that your attitude has a physical effect on your body........and that in reverse, your physical actions, running, jumping, yelling for your team, working hard at anything that you do, including cleaning the best toilet ever, will change your attitude to the positive.

I believe that to be true.

Before Tony Robbins begins his famous motivational seminars. He gets in his room and does jumping jacks, power pump boxing and yells and screams in front of the mirror and then "Explodes" into a room of thousands of people.

Draw a line in the sand...The past is past.

Seek out and engage in club activity...tennis, bowling, church, golf, running, bicycle

Hope that helps

Its a disease, it not just you. Its 1 in 10 of the population. Winston Churchill had it, he called it the "Black Dog"

God bless

Not that I have any answers, but here are a few suggestions.
If you're single.........why not take a cruise? There are so many positions onboard a cruise ship that would give your "travel" career a boost to have "hands-on" experience.

Ski Resorts are BEGGING for employees from about Halloween through Easter. (I was in Vail and Beaver Creek just last week) lots of signs up. If you speak languages other than English - Great! It's a real asset.

Community colleges sometimes offer "Event Planner" courses. This can be an asset to "travel" type careers.
Consider connecting with some of the Bus Tour companies and build yourself a reputation from the bottom-up, as a hostess or tour guide or setting-up the details.
The casino industry could be a way to break-into the transportation companies that bus the players to the remote casinos and on sight-seeing travel tours.

The hotel businesses are world-wide. Consider gaining a background in that industry and building on that as you move-on to your next phase of "training"
