You're 110 lbs at 5`5, but yet you have a lot of extra fat? I think you might be exagerating, yes?
I would suggest increasing your cardio. You should do about 45-60 minutes of cardio (3-6 times a week) to melt away fat. Consume around 1200 calories, and drink at least 8 glasses of water daily.

Eat healthy things and don't be tempted to eat sweet and junk foods. Set a goal and don't just go on on and off diets. Try to be on a diet for at least 2 months and you will see a change.
Here are some tips to help you:
1.Walk to work or to school instead of driving.
2.Do not use foods to reward yourself after a long day. Instead you should buy a present for yourself.
3.Do something while your watching TV so you won't be tempted to eat.
4.Put some grapes in the freezer and pop them into your mouth as an alternative for candy.
5.Go on a diet with your friends so you can encourage each other.
Good luck with your diet and I hope you accomplish your goal.

Eat less than you normally do. Eat more veggies than meat, but eat less surgar (like any desserts, and ketchu), and starches (rice, pasta, bread) or you can just eat brown rice instead of white. Do some aerobic exercise that actually squeeze the fat out. Every day walk at least a block around your neighboorhood, run for a few minutes if you can.
Drink more water. Look for a diet thats best for you.

There are more diets than ever and more people dieting than ever and yet we have the fattest society ever. So a lot of these ideas about losing weight, make you fatter. Cutting calories, carbs and fats can cause you to have a weight problem for life. It is better to eat differently.
See site below and learn why meat and non-fat yogurt are so fattening. Also salt has no calories but makes you fat. It also has the quickest weight loss possible. Eat good carbs not bad carbs. Nourish your body thin, instead of starving your body fat. Eat foods made by nature and avoid foods made by man which are designed to make you fat and very addicted to food. Do the ninja warrior diet (not a diet but a diet lifestyle).

looking at your wieght and height losing nemore weight might make you look less attractive so if your a narcissist you might want to look at philisophies of aesthetics but.. If ya really think u'd be prettier with less fat or their is another reason you want to lose it.
here are some basic tips and tricks to lose FAT.
try to eat less than 15% calories from fat of your total calorie intake in a day.
-You have to count calories to lose weight. If your burning 1000 calories walking 10 miles, but then that same day eating 3500 calories, you'll never see progress
.. I'd say eat like 1400 calories a day in numerous small meals. 1200 calories if you really need to lose it but try not to get any less.
-5 or 6 small meals keeps your metabolsm running all througout the day.
-Drink plenty of water throughout the day.
-Try to make sure you don't eat to many carbs at once.
-If your a big fan of meats try eating White meat of chicken and turkey. Tuna is great if you like it. This will help you get protien but stay under the 15% calories from fat
-exercise in the morning if possible, your bodys more prone to exercise when your first wake up it's ready to burn calories but later in the day it can take a bit of mental preperation to start a workout.
-If your a light exerciser like walking or very slow jogging then you can exercise as much as you want in the day, or you can choose a hardcore stamina training style like running or long distance jogging thaen give your body recovery time. A stamina building routine is better in the long run and is more time efficient so you don't spend as much time having to burn calories.
-Also the very moment you wake up eat something because it kick starts your metabolsm and try to eat fairly soon after any exercise sessions.
Healthy weight loss is 2 lbs a week typically it can be done faster though and stilll be healthy but unless you have radical surgery or something don't expect much more than that.
Also NEVER EVER get less than 1200 calories in day what happens in this case is your body senses famine and so stops taking the nutrients from fat and starts getting nutrients from your muscles and thus your muscles lose mass and for each lb of muscle you lose that's 60 calories less a day your body burns. Not only that but the day you eat less 1200 calories you also burn no fat but burn off muscle instead.

there's no simple, fast, way to lose weight. you just need to have a good diet and excercise. cut out all junk foods and maybe eat smaller portions. if you eat a lot then reduce your intake by half of what you usually eat and just so you won't be deprived of junk food maybe indulge in some over the weekend. if you already excercise then just push your self a little harder or excercise for a couple more minutes. i did that for about 2 weeks (went to the gym everday for an hour) and lost 10 lbs. good luck :)

5'5 and 110 is an excellent weight.
I think what your looking for is to tone.
Try it the old fashioned way-
Sit ups
Daily walks (Or Treadmill)
Cruches
Bicyle (Where you sit on your back and peddle your legs)
Also Cosmogirl had a really good workout to tone in the Oct. issue. Its more for fun then work. Normally I laugh at the workouts in there, but this one was pretty good ^^

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 400-600cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day (have lots of veggies to eat in between meals if you are still hungry)
8 glasses of water -carry bottle of water with you and when you feel hungry drink it - we often confuse hunger with thirst (our bodies confuse it)
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio is the only fat burning exercise and burns fat all over your body (running, jogging, swimming, spinning, elliptical etc) 4-6 times a week for average of 45min, light weight training a few times a week (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, ice cream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
of course you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
