My teeth are see through on the bottom because until I was almost 16, I never had good dental care. I could rarely brush my teeth without bad pain because of gum disease. Is there any way to fix the see through teeth and make them whiter and stronger looking? I don't like veneers because they're ugly. It doesn't matter how much money it'll take so what are my options.

You're having something painted on your teeth but you don't know what it is?

Also do you think I will lose my teeth because of the lack of care or does it matter as long as I start taking care of them now?

veneers are very fake looking. I can always spot them on people.

Get some whitening treatment at the dentist. I'm sure the dentist would know what to do. Afterwards you can use fluoride mouth rinse which will help strengthen your teeth.

I have this white stuff painted on the top of my teeth in the back. I don't know what it is called. I am also unsure if it was a preventative or a fix. I guess I really can't answer your question, sorry!

I am 27 years old...The dentist put this stuff on my teeth when I was in elementary school. No, I don't know what it is.

You may be first person on earth who says veneers are ugly. I don't know if there are any prizes to be won for such a statement. In the absence of proper dental care that has gifted you the gum disease, your first option is to consult a periodontist lest you are left with no teeth for any essential or cosmetic procedures like bonding, veneers or crowns.
