Have you ever felt totally seperated from God. I mean I am a born again Christian but lately I haven't been doing the things I used to do such as praying, reading my Word but I still go to church often. But prayer, fasting and reading I feel are very important for my relationship but for some reason I've become complacent or lazy. I know I love God and I know he loves me. I've been a changed person ever since I've gotten saved I just don't know what's going with me right now. Have you ever felt this way?

There have been moments in my life where I have stopped praying and reading my scriptures. It took me a while to realize why I didn't begin again. I soon came to the conclusion that I felt guilty in a way. Because I had not been praying and reading the scriptures I felt as though I had sinned and didn't feel worthy of speaking to the Lord. Just begin to do it all again and you won't be sorry! The last time I missed a night of prayer and scripture study was February! It's a great feeling to stay in the habit and you learn sooooo much! Good luck!

I've felt that way too, is not a nice feeling, but with work it can come back to be the realatitionship it used to be.

In my Bible study group we started reading a book called "Having a heart of Mary in a Martha's world". It talks about what you're saying, that a lot of times we think we can do everything like housework, taking care of the kids, husband, work, etc and we forget what is the most important: GOD. You kind of have to take a break fisically and mentally to really dedicate to Him and you will fell close to Him again.

good luck!

soreness is a unprecedented ingredient. Burning a finger or stubbing a toe can injury all nighttime, yet as quickly as I shattered my wrist into 20 products (bones protruding), i did no longer sense something in any respect. i assume i replaced into basically into "operation mode," and that i found out that soreness could be a incapacity in getting necessary clinical help. i do no longer think of the worst actual soreness can come close to to the psychological agony a lot of human beings have suffered. Merry Christmas, and each and all of the terrific to you and your loved ones. And be careful!

Yes i have and it is a lonely and lost feeling. It is amazing how much happier you are when you are praying and reading....and once you start doing those things again everything seems to get better and seem brighter.

I think that every Christian has felt this way. I know I have. Talk to your pastor about what is going on. Most importantly, take your concerns to the Lord in prayer. He will help you through this time.

Works never saved you and won't keep you saved. Doing those things are necessary and great but shouldn't be done as a "rule" you have to follow. Maybe God is trying to take you to another level of relationship and fellowship with Him. One of freedom from rules and regulations.

It's just a trial of your faith
There are times you will not feel anything, you just know you are is and that is that
God sometimes does that to see if you will walk by faith and not feeling
there are seasons of in and out
sometimes you feel a lot and sometimes you feel nothing
Keep on walking

Yes I have, most of the time it's because I put something ahead of God, then I come to realize it later. I know God never left me

Your all dependent on a drug...Religion

If you lose faith thats when religion completely FAILS! and the doctrine kicks in!
