I don't know about before...
But if there is no life after death, then this life here and now is really pointless. When we die, we're dead. It's over. Nothing else. That means that there are really no long-term consequences for our choices here, nor is there any long-term motivation to be "good." Our only motivation would be making our temporary life here and now better for ourselves individually. But even that would be fleeting and ultimately pointless since it would all come to an end sooner or later anyway. The only thing people would have to live for is getting themselves further ahead. There would no reason to help others, improve society, or really do anything nice at all... since we'd all just die and it would be over absolutely, we'd all just be living for the moment without any concern for any one else or what might be long-term.

Although God knew you (saw your future) before you were born, your life did not exist before you were born. But, there IS life after your physical death....."After death a person is unconscious, waiting for God to call him from the grave and restore him to life. For some, as we will see, the "change" will be an astounding transformation, even more amazing than the dead being raised to life again."..........Read on.....http://www.ucg.org/booklets/AD/lifeafterdeath.htm

I was killed when I was 5 so I was on the other side for awhile it is wonderful there. better then here. I can not begin to describe how wonderful it is. I was sent back. I didn't want to come back. it doesn't hurt to die, even in traumatic violent ways. what hurts is to come back to your body. so yes, there is life after death. it is the real life. here is the before life. before the real life.

Let's see it 2007AD and this is life...yes
Death wasn't so bad for me in 1452BC. I breezed right through until 1962AD then things got...weird and lost. I sprang into a new genre called Living.
LIVE spelled backwards is you know what!
LIVED backwards is some what jarring... oh what the heck such is Life after death maybe just situational existences.

No life before life. Absolutely not. "It is given to man to live once." Heb.9:27.
Life after death? Yes, but only at the resurrection. 1 Thess.4:14-18.
Between death and life again is total silence. "The dead know not anything." Ecc.9:6,10.

Yes. It is not what you think. We are made form the union of a sperm and an egg. The sperm that dad produced came from the foods he ate. So did the egg that mom produced. The foods were once living beings. Thus we came out of other living beings. We grow in our mother's womb mainly because of the foods she eats. Thus we grow because of other living beings be it plants or animals. Thus we are part of the life cycle. Once we die we return to earth to feed other creatures (maggots, worms, etc.) which then become part of the bigger food chain or we push up plants. That is life after death. Our bodies provide nourishment for other beings and it goes on. :)

No life before life but there is life after death. and YES we Christians are told to spread the Truth. It is our priviledge.
If you want eternal life in the Kingdom of God, then you must repent of your sins and believe in Jesus the Son of God. Read the Bible to find the answers to these questions and PRAY.

Do you think that you just came here to live and die? Our phisical bodies are just machines made for our soul to function in the phisical world. The purpose of lives is for our soul to learn valuable lessons . Am I saying you have to believe it ...no .Think about this... When someone you know has passed away how many times have you heard someone say that they are still with you. Or that they will watch over you. Think about it seriously. It did not come from out of nowhere. I wouldnt believe it if I hadnt lost my fience this past febuary. I felt him with me . Could sometimes hear his voice so I knew that he was still here.So I consulted a medium and she told me everything there was to know about he and I. You should try it sometime. Now I have devoted much of my time to learning about life after death. Also mediumship.
