well you're still alive so you still have a chance to choose your path try reading abt all other religions ans see the most one you think is real and then choose wat you're gonna do with your life No one knows for sure the truth no one has returned from death to tell us... May God Guide you to Light

Yes, that's a hard one. Burning for eternity would be a bummer too. I don't even like to pinch out a candle flame.

I tried to fake God out by just saying a prayer for fire insurance sake, but He kind of knew what was going on.

I tried to ignore God, but that didn't work so well either. In the end, deep down, I always have known there is a God. I don't know why.

There are other ways and some work more or less. I think there will always be the doubt in the back of your head though.

It's hard to prove 100%, but I'm positive you can get to the point of "Beyond a reasonable doubt" if you look into it. There are fulfilled prophesies of the Bible. There is lots of evidence that the Bible has been kept accurate through the years. Then there is Jesus. Either he was a lunatic or he was God. If you study what he said, he didn't leave the option of just being teacher or prophet in there.

If you are seriously trying to find out if it's true, look at "More than a Carpenter", or "Evidence That Demands a Verdict" by Josh McDowell. He does a good job.

If you have specific questions about Christianity that you are stumped on, feel free to e-mail me. If I don't know, I'll ask my pastor. I don't mind and if you feel I'm wasting your time, I'll stop (honest!). Easy as that.

I wish you the best.

You dont think christianity is true and you are Scared??

Ask yourself what do you believe... You tend to beleve in something that you dont want to accept(May be out of fear or ignorance) Yes it happens and you seem to be affected by the same thing

As far as my knowledge goes You atleast believe that there is a God and you may even believe that he has created Hell and Heaven for you. Dont you? Yes you do.

What I would recommend why not get lots of books of the major religions and read them all. Lets see if you now could really find a God to exist..

By the way keep sure that you wont find proofs of God to exist anyhow but you might be showered by his signs on this earth.
You see I say you wont find a proof for if you would it would be like having the answers before the question in an examination

I don't really understand your question. If you don't believe then you don't believe.

IF this is how you feel about Christianity, I don't think that God will just LET you into Heaven because you are too scared to pick a side.

On the other hand I am a Christian who believes in Reincarnation, I don't really believe that the bible says that you MUST believe in Christ before you can get into heaven I just believe that HE is the first one you see when you cross over. My understanding of Hell and Sin have changed over the years and I don't quite view them the same way that most Christians do.

What ever you decide, do it with strength, conviction and power.

God Bless!!!

Hi Justin, historically, your question was kind of asked and answered answered by Pascal's Wager...

But maybe the real question is whether you have felt the Christianity you were introduced to by your parents, local church, school, friends, TV Evangelist, or family is superficial?

You should not be/remain a Christian because of a fear of hell. Rather it should be because of the peace, hope, joy and love you personally derive from the Christian message and way of life. If you feel you have not really known this, it might be a good time to take a good independent look at Christ's teachings (if you feel moved to). "The truth shall set you free" (Jn 8:32).

Peace!

That's illogical. If you do not think Christianity is true, then you would not think hell exists. The fact that you're scared shows that you are not sure about what you believe.
Or is this another question intended to mock Christians?

Don't worry about it. I'm buddhist and goes to hell too, and I actually prefer hell over heaven, so we can meet up at that time, have a game of cards and have a blast of a time.

On the more serious side - you can't end up in something that doesn't exist. Heaven, hell and God does not exist.

As some one said...
"If heaven is the place where christians live..
then i would prefer going to hell"

You are asking the wrong question here. It should be,'How can I get over my fear of hell' ? And the answer would be your other question. Ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior and become a christian.

Just switch to Buddhism. Then you will not have to worry about Christian hell, and you can get up late Sunday morning.

if hell is a place of torture then Jesus created all things including hell, before humans existed he created a place of torture knowing that they will use the free will bad and after that he created hell to torture humans , of course this is according to christians but not what the bible really teach...

the lake of fire represents second death or eternal death and means die or stop existence forever but not that God will use his power totorture you, cause he is not a sadic.

Death is defined in Eclessiastes 9:5 " For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten"

Jesus Christ offer you life not not send you to a place he created to torture you.
