Pinky a lot of it, in my opinion has to do with a person's age and maturity level. Some people kids and adults give of themselves on the first date. Not many of these work out as the other person often wonders how often the other has slept with someone on the first date. So my advice is not to do that. You should wait until you at least have gone out long enough to know each other pretty well. What each others opinions are on different things and how involved each wants to be committed to this relationship.

I love it when a girl sleeps with me the first night but it precludes any chance of a relationship. I can't tell you the real rational behind this as I realize it's a double standard... all I know is that it turns me off and I won't trust them not to cheat after that.
So it's great if she doesn't make me wait but if I like her, than it breaks my heart because I know what I have to do.
I can't tell you what the exact time frame is. I would guess at the very least two weeks (sorry to what every guy I'm dooming to two weeks of sobriety).
My first love made me wait a month and I can't even tell you how much I loved that girl.

There isn't a set time. When you know him or her well enough...and vice versa, then it'll be right for the both of you. If you spent the whole night talking about deep things, personal issues, opinions, hopes, dreams, etc., then I'd say even one day is good enough.
But regardless...the world will judge. They will vary in answers. 3 months, 6 months, years, etc. But really...it depends on how well you know the person.

A month at the earliest, preferably 3 months. Marriage, nope. I believe sexual compatibility is important and if you don't test drive before you buy, you may end up with problems. Not that sex is everything in a marriage but it is important.

If its for a true relationship you will know when the time is right. If you are pressured then you are with the wrong partner. If its just to have some fun and a good time, do it.

Depends how you feel and the chemistry involved. I would say wait until you are in love. Not just care for...no, I'm talking full out IN LOVE.

I think 3rd date is fairly common, but there are no set rules.
