Just like when you buy a Windows computer, no MS Office comes with it unless someone installed these items after the computer left the factory. Here is a list of applications that Apple includes on a MacBook:
# iLife ’08 suite for creating photo projects, making movies, designing DVDs, building websites, and composing music
# • Front Row
# • Photo Booth
# • iWork ’08 30-day trial
# • Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac 30-day Test Drive

The Office 2004 will give you PowerPoint for 30 days. Then, poof, no more Office. You can download losts of quite good applications for free, such as Gimp (for graphics) and NeoOffice (link below) for presentation / word processing/ spreadsheet. Or you can pay $80 for iWork before the 30 day trial ends. It is as good as Office in many ways and the Keynote presentation app is better than PowerPoint.

The MacBook & MacBook professional the two have a similar battery lifestyles now. The MacBook professional has a lit keyboard, a firewire port and a card reader. in case you do no longer want those, get the MacBook. The MacBook Air is a advantageous Mac in case you have already got a Mac and you like portability with minimum inputs and outputs. verify the Apple training internet site, you may qualify for a loose iPod touch & a printer as nicely a chit.
