To be honest with you, He only gets top billing about 30% of the time. I still have a flesh, thought Romans 6 tells me that it's dead, it sometimes doesn't act like it.

If I were to say yes all the time I would be a liar, Why? because it's part of human nature, and sometimes it takes over. Now I do strive everyday to put him first, because I love him.

I should put God first before my wife or myself but my flesh gets in the way. I seek Him daily and try to achieve my best.

I think everyone puts God first.
The fly in the ointment is that everyone seems to have different Gods.
How can anyone agree about God when there's so many definitions.

The best definition I've heard is this:
"God is that within us that uses love to break the barriers between people." ~ Gnostic

I in fact do not put the Divine entity first, particularly because if She were meant to be considered first, She would hardly have put us on this earth filled with such freedom, and we would simply sit about Her and gaze with awe.

The Divine is meant to be a guide, sought for assistance when necessary. The Divine is not a master, and is not fraught with rules and regulations, and has no interest in being put first.

She is complete in and of Herself, She doesn't need you to validate Her.

No, I never put god first, last or anywhere, since I do not believe in gods.

Yes. But not your god.
My god is nameless, sexless, formless; cannot be visualized,
is omnipresent, omnipotent, omniescent and not bribable by prayers, money or good deeds.
My god does not judge being behind creation and also is the source of creation and hence does not judge his/her/its creation; nor does it take sides.
