i want to make this xmas special for needy families,& i need help w/donations. any ideas how to get people in?

i tried the pass along email, but its not working. i need a way to tell people what i'm trying to do. to get them interested and help me make this christmas special.

If you have a local church that is active in the community I would check with them.
Also check with your local department of family and children's service and see if they are aware of anyone who would be interested in this project.
Is there an orphanage near you? Check with them.
Sometimes elementary school teachers can help out with things like this.
I would visit it person, not call. You get a better response if you talk to people face to face.
Write down some of your ideas. Be prepared to explain exactly what you would like to do.
This is a very kind thing to do, don't give up.
