It's a scientific theory. Why do... oh yeah, because it doesn't go against the Bible. In truth, evolution is even more plausible than gravity, scientifically speaking.

Why don't you put down your myth book and start reading nonfiction? Maybe you'll stop making fools out of yourselves.

Obviously this isn't directed toward Christians who know evolution is the truth (you guys are on the right track).

Fundies are neither logical, consistent, nor reasonable. Their brains are addled with "faith."

I really don't mean to be rude here, but the last people who are making a fool out of themselves are us Christians. Your argument is sadly very ignorant and to use your own words, foolish. That's okay though, because my "myth book" says that the Truth of the Bible will appear to be foolish to those who walk in the darkness. Step out into the light and you will see that Christians are not against scientific theory - just scientific theory which goes against the teachings in the Bible. Remember, scientific theory is just that - THEORY. It is not proven fact. The Bible on the other hand, can be proven and has been, on many occasions, and is even used as a SCIENTIFIC tool by archaeologists, paleontologists, historians, and other scientists to support their findings. If we Christians are able to balance scientific evidence with the truths in the Bible, why is it so difficult for you and others to accept that the Bible and scientific evidence of things can go hand in hand? God gave us a brain and the ability to reason, learn, discover and form conjectures. Is it that difficult a concept to think that because we believe that what the Bible says is true that it means we can't believe in anything else? The Bible is a guidebook for living, if you will. There is no way the Bible could possibly cover every discovery of mankind or every scientific theory. There would be too many volumes of the Bible to count. The Bible doesn't mention that humans would be able to fly in planes or go to outer space, yet there is scientific evidence to support it, as well as visible proof. Still, the Bible does not state that it is impossible to fly.

Your gravity statement is a no-brainer. God, YOUR Creator as well as mine, made all the laws of nature, including the law of gravity. Gravity is not a theory, as you stated, but a law of nature. It is not subject to argument - it is a fact. The Bible is not a myth book - it is a fact, and I sincerely hope that you will do more scientific research to prove the mythical nature of the Bible before you state it as fact and call the rest of us foolish. Many have set out to prove the Bible false, only to become Christians in the process.

Christians like to pick and choose the segments of science they feel comfortable with, such as accepting the THEORY of gravity, while discounting the THEORY of evolution. One wonders if they have considered their position on entrophy!

This is no different from how they pick and choose different passages of their ridiculously primitive book to emphasize: thus, in one decade, Christians insisted slavery was their hobgoblin's, god's, will, yet in the next, they insisted slavery was not its will.

This kind of inconsistency is common to irrational believers of primitive dogmas all around the world. Somehow circular logic operates to deceive the believer into thinking their archaic beliefs and superstitons are coherent, much less accurate reflections of reality.

Man if you call that science you will fall for anything the man was an admitted drug addict and alcoholic (Charles Darwin),he based his theory (Theory=Educated GUESS),on what, that there was a link between prehistoric man and modern man,now over one hundred years later and mountains of earth that has been moved looking for this link still no evidence to support this GUESS,ok how about the missing link between any living mammal do some research to this day not one piece of evidence has been found linking any mammal to any prehistoric mammal where is your scientific evidence,SHOW ME THE BONES ,LINK THEM TOGETHER,you cant and neither can your God SCIENCE.

evolution is more plausible than gravity?
LOL milk just squirted though my nose!
How is it that a person can compare something that we can see the evidence of every waking moment of every day with the mystery of evolution which has absolutely nothing other than scientific conjecture to back it up?
You have got to be the comic relief of all human intelligence in the current day!
(REMEMBER! milk came out my nose lol !)

Thankyou for exposing the evolutionist as the more gullible of the two!

Being a christian is learning to be non-arrogant. It is obvious that Christ is not in you. Start believing first (at least try) in the Creator, maybe you will learn to be more compassionate and loving. Then try again posting or rewording your questions in a more civilized manner... and maybe you will get your answer with conviction. Prayers for you, bro.

They should rename this web-site to yahoo thump on the christians site. Your statements are boring, stupid & without foundation. I'm sure you are relying on someone elses beliefs & you have never even read a book on the subject, but like Jesus said if the blind lead the blind they will both fall into the ditch.
