i mean seriously

on EVERY SINGLE religious question i see there's always that there are some people who just are trying to prove others wrong and ridicule anyone who has different beliefs

like, what the hell you know?
there are so many topics about atheists and how they're wrong/right
why can't we just say "oh, he/she's whatever, that's cool it's not really any of my business and i should respect him/her"

I think the problem stems from one of us who cannot accept other's non- or other- beliefs. They are commanded by their god to witness to the unbelievers.

Because when you start respecting somebody elses beliefs too much...the person getting the respect will always want more. The problem with some religions is....the followers of that religion ALWAYS attempt to get government backing/validation of their religious belief system in the form of laws which everybody, even people who don't follow any religious belief system, are required to follow.

Never give anybod too much power...or respect.

I think that it is a part of religion itself. In all major religions, the spritual book or priests are constantly preaching about how their religion is the "true path" or whatever. Beliefs are really powerful things, and many people take that for granted. People are ready to kill and steal and hurt other people for the sake of their religion. The relgion then urges the masses to try and convert and change others, because what they believe is not right. Religion is not designed to accept; it is designed to spread.

I personally answer questions from all beliefs because they are evidently looking for an opinion, otherwise they wouldn't have posted a question in the first place. If a person wants answers from only those who agree with them, maybe they should go to another website.

Cause that's kinda the whole point of this section...And by human nature, if we believe something, we have to force as many people as possible to believe it, too. Stop being a human, and we'll talk.

We dont have to accept them, just accept the fact that they can believe whatever they want to.

If everyone here said that to every question, we wouldn't have a forum or anything to discuss, would we.?
